Honestly not worth the price. The indoor play area is nice but wish it was more open so you can keep an eye on your children. The had a terrible experience with the guy running the vr ride (which is extra). He was very rude! My son has autism and he kept loudly (getting more aggressive each ask) if he could see. My son said no and he snatched it off his head and goes yea he can see it and rolled his eyes! I also got the wrong photo in my frame. I didn't notice till I got home and looked. (3hrs away). Also the outdoor area was closed. The only good experience was the employee who was running the print your own Lego person. He was very polite to me and my son. Even going to the back to get us a blonde hair piece to match my sons hair (they had none up front). If your child is obsessed with Legos this is the place to go.

I must admit I was a little disappointed for my 12 year old grand son. 1. I suggest they get rid of the shooting ride and turn that area into a copy it room. Have small Lego tables all over the room and in the center of each table have a Lego figure they have to try and copy, ( some for younger kids- bigger legos ) simple things like a heart, a car, a small plane, a building, a shoe, a house, a person. Simple to copy with in 30 minutes. Comfy chairs for parents to relax while kids interact. Workers who encourage kids to work together to build it. 2. Kids bop Music in the back ground to enjoy. 3. ( no workers interacted with kids except the expert builder behind the glass! Why is she hidden behind a wall, kids love watching her build! Put her facing the kids so they can watch, ask questions. 4. One room had buttons to push but no direction so no one used the room. Put a human in there to explain how to use it make it fun!! 5. Lots of workers just standing around talking. 6.The car build and race was the best thing so why not make that bigger/ better ( station a worker to encourage the kids, hand out paper trophies to winners! ) 7. Seems absurd to charge parents who will do nothing, it’s a kids venue so charge kids and let parents come for 1/2 price. 8. I also was disappointed in the Lego store, should have been more choices. Opportunity missed to make money from grandparents in my opinion. we wanted a darth Vader key chain but you didn’t have it. Would have helped sell if they displayed the item already put together. We spent 54.00 by the way. Over all we enjoyed but prob won’t be back because of cost and lack of things to do. Just wasn’t a fun environment.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas Fort Worth ended up being a fun surprise inside the mall. We were able to use our Legoland passes so admission was already covered, which made the visit even better. The center has a few small rides and plenty of hands-on areas that kept our little one busy and happy the entire time. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and it felt like an easy spot to let kids explore without feeling rushed. If you already have passes or just need something fun to do with younger kids, this is a solid option. We walked out feeling like it was time well spent.

We bought tickets for Black Friday and had a fantastic time at LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Grapevine/Dallas. It’s a perfect experience for anyone who loves LEGO — from little builders to big kids at heart. They have three rides, tons of building and play areas, a DUPLO zone for younger kids, a play structure, a seasonal splash pad, a fun 4D movie, and more. My 5-year-old twins and my 17-year-old all had a blast — which says a lot! We spent about two hours there, and everyone left happy. Highly recommend for a family outing! - The only reason why I’m giving it four stars is this staff weren’t the nicest, Legos all over the floor, and in the back where the police car ride is, it’s not clear where to enter so people kept entering in the first door, which is the small room where they give the kids the instructions.

Took my 4-year-old on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised, no wait times for rides or activities at all. I purchased tickets online the day before for $22 each, which felt like a great value. It’s a fun spot for families with younger kids, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained for hours. There’s even a splash pad included in the price, though it was closed for the season during our visit. The staff was friendly, energetic, and really made sure our kiddo had a great time. Inside, there are lots of stations for different LEGO builds, a 3D movie, a couple of rides, and even a VR experience (for an extra fee). The LEGO displays of DFW are especially impressive and worth checking out. Overall, it’s a great indoor activity for a laid-back day. My only complaint is that it feels a bit small, I just wish there was more to explore!
