Ate here on a very snowy night after Christmas. The restaurant was warm and accomodating, and the staff were very pleasant. We enjoyed a very relaxed meal of steak frites with a very savoury sauce, and shared a delicious slice of Sugar Pie. The meal was very good value and the portions were excellent quality and very hearty. Highly recommended!

Best food I've had in Canada. Service amazing. I told them I was lactose intolerant and they gave me food on the menu I could eat. The steak and fries were stunning. Then the desert a lactose free creme brulee was out of this world. Im not just saying that. It was. I will be back.

One of the main reasons for my trip to Québec City. I had been here years ago on a freezing night, discovered it by chance, and always remembered the experience. This time, coming back was intentional, our main stop for dinner. I’ve heard many times about the real L’Entrecôte in Paris, and although I’m not sure if this one is officially connected, the table d’hôte menu is almost identical. The famous caper sauce tasted slightly different, but still very good. We had a Sunday evening reservation and arrived about 30 minutes early; they welcomed us with no issue. It wasn’t very crowded at first, but it filled up as time passed. Service was friendly, and they suggested a wine that paired perfectly with the meal. What we ordered (Table d’hôte): • Soup (first course) • Green salad with walnuts (second course) • 9 oz steak cooked exactly as requested • Extra sauce when I asked — no problem • Profiteroles with chocolate + tea • One crème brûlée substitution (extra charge) Everything was well-prepared, classic, and comforting. We had a great night, although our server seemed slightly rushed, likely because the table was reserved after us, so we tried to cooperate and finish on time. Verdict; A must-try in Québec City and even in Canada. This style of steak-frites restaurant is rare here, and they execute it well. Good ambiance, good food, and a menu that brings the classic French experience. ⭐ 4.7/5 — Worth the visit, especially for fans of Paris-style entrecôte

Romantic place to satisfy your french-style steak cravings in the old city. Service was very friendly and we never felt rushed throughout our dinner. We had a window seat with a smaller round table which was a bit tight, but the ledge made it work. The gravy for the l'entrecôte poutine was really delicious, better than the l'entrecôte sauce. Their bread was also delicious but the packaged whipped butter didn't fit the rest of the restaurant aesthetic...

Our first meal in Quebec City, and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is located on a busy street with lots of energy. The food was tasty, and the portions were generous. They offer a kids’ pasta option, which my kids really enjoyed. I also tried their local IPA—highly recommended if you’re into craft beer!
