I had gone in and purchased a nice bottle of wine, turned out there was glass in the bottle as I poured out the final glasses. Shortly after I returned to the shop to show the bottle and our glasses that had glass in them. I was told we would hear from a manager shortly after once they were back in town. I hadn’t heard anything for two weeks so I went in and again no apology, no refund just said that a manager will eventually get back to me. It’s been over a month now and I have yet to hear anything from the staff or manager. At least refund me for a bottle that had glass in it…?
Went into the wine shop tonight to ask about a lager from Howe sound Brewery. The gentleman checked the computer and said let’s go to the back and check it out. I obliged and said OK in the interim a family came in and was asking some questions. As I stood there, the attention was focussed on the family. After about 10 minutes still no engagement. I was very frustrated and decided to leave as far as I’m concerned that was very rude. I will never go back there again.
The Knowledgeable Tony with kind, sincere gesture as well as the female staff at the cashier. Their smiles were good to exchange. They have good selections of everything and are willing to help your choice by all means regardless any price level. Blue mountain pino was good, Tony. I will drop by again. 🍻
Excellent wine selection! Some great liquor and beer options too, particularly if you're looking for something off the beaten path. Service is friendly and the staff is knowledgeable and able to make great recommendations. Rating 4 stars because their prices are higher than you can find elsewhere for the same bottle. That said, you will find things here that you won't easily find at other stores in the city.
A wonderful selection of wines from around the world at a variety of price points so you are sure to find something suitable. For me it was a local Canadian wine but, as a visitor from France, I also spotted two different Cahors malbec from just a few kilometres from my home which was a really pleasant surprise. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When I visited there was a local craft beer tasting and a good selection of beers. Highly recommended!
