Melissa has taken photos for our family twice. Once when we were expecting our first child, and later with our 2 children. I highly recommend her. She was great with the kids and her work is exceptional. She has my highest praises.

My first week postpartum was a little rough for both me and baby and the last thing on my mind was newborn photos. Once things started to settle, I contacted Melissa with low expectations that I could get in for newborn pictures since I waited until last minute but she was able to get me in for pictures without any issues. Pricing is very reasonable as well. There were multiple costume/scenery changes allowing for multiple photos to choose from. The photos came out great!!

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Life Photography by Melissa for my newborn photos. From start to finish, Melissa was kind, patient, and incredibly flexible. The day of our session, the weather was terrible, and Melissa was proactive in reaching out to check in, making sure we could safely make the session or reschedule if needed. That level of care immediately put me at ease. When we arrived, baby decided she was wide awake and refused to sleep for the first 30–45 minutes, but Melissa was so patient and calm throughout the entire process. She never once made us feel rushed or like the delay was impacting the session in any way. Once the baby finally fell asleep, Melissa was amazing—gently and skillfully moving her through different sets, outfits, and poses with such care. The studio itself was incredibly comfortable (so much so that I nearly fell asleep!), and the range of colors, props, and outfits available was impressive. Most importantly, the photos were absolutely stunning. I couldn’t be happier with the results and truly treasure these images. I'm already looking forward to returning for more photos as my baby grows - I couldn't imagine going to anyone else for all my family's photography needs from here on out. I can’t recommend Melissa highly enough.
