Interesting set up .. not a fan of the order up front and we'll bring the food. Especially when not familiar with the menu. Tip trap, don't get caught like I did. You get all the accessories yourself. Flavors are great! We ate off breakfast menu.

I was really excited to try Little Rey for the first time, especially with all the buzz about it in Raleigh’s Iron Works district. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of expectations. While the atmosphere and service were fine, the food itself was just underwhelming and definitely didn’t live up to the hype. We’ve eaten at places like Gym Tacos, Fritos Burgers and Tacos, and G Tacos (another local favorite), and those spots deliver much more bold, satisfying flavors and better value for what you pay. At Little Rey, we found the tacos and other dishes to be pretty bland and not worth the price, especially when there are so many better Mexican/taco options around town. It may be great for some, but for us it was a disappointment — not the standout meal we were hoping for on our first visit.

We had a rough night trying to get settled in Raleigh, and we had quite the appetite when we finally arrived to Little Rey the next morning. Asiya and the dream team were so kind and accommodating that we felt better as soon as we walked in. We’re long-time fans of this Ford Frye restaurant, and we’re happy to hear they had a Raleigh location. The food was incredible as usual, but it was Asiya and her kindness that made all the difference on this visit.

Really tasty tacos with fresh ingredients and great flavor! The chips with queso and guac were perfect, and the Grapefruit drink was super refreshing. Casual spot with good vibes and quick service. Definitely worth coming back for more! 🌮✨

Little Rey’s in Raleigh did not disappoint! We started with the queso primo and it was the perfect way to kick off the meal. It was rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor. For mains, we tried the chef’s special tacos, arroz con pollo, and the Diablo shrimp tacos. Each dish was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious with the shrimp tacos bringing just the right amount of heat. The service was just as impressive as the food. Quinn took amazing care of us and made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a spot in Raleigh that combines bold flavors with excellent hospitality, Little Rey’s should be at the top of your list.
