My excursion to a New York City rage room—a venue supposedly designed for the "safe" release of aggression—transmogrified into a scene of such localized carnage that it makes the average medieval battlefield look like a nursery. I entered this establishment seeking a brief respite from the stresses of urban life; instead, I was subjected to a staggering display of incompetence that has fundamentally altered the trajectory of my life. This was not a "controlled environment"; it was a chaotic shooting gallery where the safety protocols were as non-existent as the coordination of the absolute Neanderthal sharing the space. The catastrophe centered around a man whose motor skills can only be described as catastrophic. While the rest of us were focused on inanimate glass and electronics, this bumbling idiot began hurling axes with a reckless, wide-arced abandon that defied the laws of both physics and common sense. Despite having the entire wall as a target, his aim was so cosmically misaligned that he managed to bypass every safety barrier, sending a sharpened projectile whistling through the air toward the one thing in the room that wasn't meant to be demolished: my person. The impact was a moment of sheer, blinding agony that redefined my understanding of the word "trauma." The axe didn’t just graze me; it found its mark with the surgical precision of a heat-seeking missile, piercing my testicle in a freakish, one-in-a-billion tragedy of bad luck. I was instantly dropped to the floor, witnessing the literal deconstruction of my future lineage because some "weekend warrior" couldn't handle a basic throwing tool. The sensation was an explosive cocktail of nausea and white-hot fire, a physical violation that no amount of "stress relief" could ever justify. The response from the facility’s staff was a masterclass in corporate negligence. As I lay writhing in a pool of my own vital fluids amidst the shattered remains of printers and televisions, the management acted with the urgency of a sloth on sedatives. There was no immediate medical intervention, no specialized first aid, and certainly no accountability for allowing an uncoordinated hazard to wield lethal weaponry in such close proximity to others. Their "waivers" may protect them from paperwork, but they do nothing to mask the stench of their utter failure to maintain a safe perimeter. I went to a NYC rage room to break a few plates, and instead, I left with a permanent, life-altering injury caused by a fool who shouldn't be trusted with a plastic spork. To have my physical autonomy and reproductive health sacrificed on the altar of someone else's "bad aim" is a level of outrage that defies human language. This establishment is a lawsuit masquerading as a business, a dangerous void where safety goes to die. If you value your anatomy or your ability to walk without a grimace, stay as far away from this den of incompetence as possible. I am not just angry; I am a walking, limping testament to the fact that some people—and some businesses—are a direct threat to the survival of the species.

This place is an absolute vibe!!! You wanna throw some stuff around? Come here!!! Great atmosphere. Even better service. I went when it was packed and everything was amazing. Robin was our cage boss and she was awesome! The servers in the bar are just as attentive. Take your friends here I promise you will have fun!

I went for my bday on July 12th and there’s some pros and cons… I got one of the alcoholic drinks ngl it tasted like paint thinner and the food was way overpriced so I didn’t even order anything but then we got in and ready for the rage part lol and it was fun I do think for its price there should be more or like bigger things to break we got some plates 2 small monitors and a laptop overall the experience was fun but I also paid for my video hoping to have it to share with friends… I paid $40 extra for that but when I got my video it was of someone else I informed them that’s not me or my husband they sent some pictures of other people again not me or my husband then I sent a picture of me and my husband to hopefully help… they told me that they can’t send me a video and that the hard drive is wiped from that day… they gave me my $40 back but I didn’t take any photos or videos because I was hoping to get that video… idk seems a bit over priced for paint thinner drinks a bit of fun and nothing to show for it… 3 stars I guess

If you’re looking for a spot to hang out with friends or a date, this is it. Drinks and food were delicious. Top faves were the warm pretzel and gluten free mushroom truffle pizza - even if you’re not gf, it’s a must order! We had so much fun doing the rage rooms and live axe throwing. They had great instructors for each room ensuring safety standards were met and letting us know what to expect in each one. Rage rooms include smashing plates and hitting a dummy/laptops!

Rage room was so much fun!! In the name of Halloween, we got to smash some pumpkins. The staff gives you a full jump suit and goggles to protect yourself and clothing so you can really go crazy. Next we got to throw some plates and smash old TVs which is always cathartic. Great venue- clean, friendly staff and the event was well organized.
