Local take is great local SF themed business! They have lots of items with something from San Francisco on the items. It is a fun store to peruse! There is a parking lot next to the store accessed from 18th St.
Highly recommend checking out this store. They have a range of lovely, high-quality items that make great gifts or souvenirs. The service is excellent too - very communicative if accessing them from the online store and also very helpful in person.
Always a very cool selection of interesting local crafts, highlighting the Bay area while being more creative and supportive of local artists than traditional tourist souvenir shops. Their most iconic set of neighborhood themes art for different San Francisco neighborhoods is quite iconic.
I stumbled upon this amazing local goods store in the heart of the Castro district, and I loved the vibrant selection. They had some colorful jumpsuits that instantly stole my heart. But what really sets this place apart is their assortment of San Francisco-themed home decor. If you're looking to add a touch of the city to your home, this is undoubtedly the go-to spot. It's a hidden gem for both fashion finds and unique SF-inspired decor pieces.
4/28/23: The shop moved to 18th St. It's a better location. The offerings were OK. I bought 2 tee-shirts. The lady owner was there, but she did not greet me or chat me up. She looked right at me & walked 🚶♀️ by me with no salutation or welcoming greeting. She should be friendly & welcoming if she wants repeat business. There are many empty storefronts in the Castro.
