Nicest antique store I’ve been to! (and I have been to very many across the Midwest). It’s a lot larger than it looks and has some great prices for some very cool items. The owners are so friendly too. The place is clean and organized.
A well curated antique store that has a great collection that is presented with visibility in mind. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I live near the loft and have gone dozens of times. There have been two separate experiences that have just been horrible. The first time, there was a glass shelving unit for sale. The cost was 100 dollars. After purchasing, I found the exact shelf at ikea for 60. When calling, they did not rectify it, even though they acknowledged the shelf was the same at ikea. They did not even allow the shelf to be returned. Absolutely scammy right? I paid 40 additional dollars for a used shelf because I thought they had integrity. The second incident was when I went last week. I saw a beautiful antique metal watch cabinet. I waited in line, was given the sold ticket and filled it out. They said I would be able to come get it after I shopped at one more location. She walked over to tag it and I heard her tell a man “this is sold” in the other room where it was. After a few seconds of whispering with the man, she then comes in and says “it’s sold” to me, even though I had been in line, said I was buying it and filled out the sold ticket (after being in the place an entire hour deliberating it before pulling the trigger). I was so upset. I had done what any retail store would tell you to do, go in line to pay. But because someone was standing by the item, and potentially said they’d pay more, they get it? And to make matters worse, the man who was now buying it gave me the BIGGEST grin, that was intentional because he was no holding it as I questioned the situation. There is no way I would ever purchase from this store again.
Really disappointed first time visiting today. First the place didn't have much to choose from especially on the main floor. The music was so loud in the lower level people were complaining it was like being in a club. The prices are over the top. And the worst was my daughter actually bought something spent $75 and the older, thin, dark haired cashier with the black and white horizontal striped shirt was a rude b**** and I'd never spend another dime in that establishment. I feel like if it had not been my 16 year old purchasing she maybe would have been nicer but that's no excuse.
Coolest place for vintage. Home decor. Antiques in Twin Cities!
