I wont go back. I took my very obviously sick Boxer on a Saturday. The vet gave her a steroid injection and wanted to run test. $700. Told me the results would be back Monday. They got mixed up and they weren’t back by Monday but it wouldn’t have mattered because by Monday it was obvious she wouldn’t live. They made her an appt on Tuesday and a different vet put her to sleep for me. I feel like the first vet was just making money off of me and extended the suffering of my beautiful Brindle baby who was only 5 yrs old. He called a couple of days after to tell me her results showed lymphoma.

i feel like i know of a hidden treasure coming to this place and i almost don’t want to write this review lest anything changes when an influx of people flock! but, you need to know. this place is legitimately the best vet ever. not only are they open basically all day, but their prices are very reasonable, and more than that their staff—especially Chloe, a caretaker for boarding—is phenomenal. i have a deaf blind 75lb puppy w lots of energy and they figured out a way to safely entertain him while i leave him for dayboarding. he literally needs to be dragged out of the facility bc he wants to stay! i just love it here and want to give each and every staff person from receptionist to vet a shout out. THANK YOU!

I had not used LBAH in a few years. I went there with my family pets that other vets would not care for like my chickens and lizards. This recent trip was for my dog and his normal vet had no available appointments so I went to LBAH who saw us right away. They were very helpful in both appointments and very professional. The wait time was decent and the office was clean and welcoming. The staff was great with both my dog and myself. I’m very happy I returned.

They are the most amazing animal vet/hospital you can take your pet to. It’s not a nearby hospital to where I am located but it is worth the drive to receive the care and serve they provide. They basically saved my chameleons life and for that I will always be grateful. Exotic pets at Long Beach Animal Hospital are cared for equally and not regarded as extra cost or work. Definitely recommend if you are thinking of going to this animal hospital.
