I’ve taken my cars to Lonnie’s University Auto since 2007, and I even helped run the front desk for about a year while taking a break between roles in my tech career, so I truly know this business inside and out. Bryan took over the shop from his father in 2023 and has done an excellent job. He is deeply committed to preserving the honest, hardworking values the shop was built on, while also continuously improving and modernizing the business. If I hadn’t been pulled back into the tech world by my best friend from high school, I would still be helping Bryan out on a regular basis. It’s a great group of people, and they consistently do phenomenal work. Attached is a photo I took of Lonnie during a break one day at work after he received a thoughtful gift from a customer.
Brian and Brandon communicated the problems with my car quickly and repaired what they believed needed to keep my old car going. When the car did not respond the way it was expected after pick up, they were quick to take the car back for further check up. I truly appreciate the professional response via text as I was already upset, and more importantly reducing the cost for the second trip.
Love Lonnie’s! Believe the reviews. I found the shop because I googled “mechanic I can trust???” The team is kind, efficient, timely, honest - and won’t invent work. Usually the mechanic is like the dentist or gynecologist. You don’t wanna go, but you do because you have to. But I honestly look forward to going there because I trust I’m getting the services I need with kindness, integrity, and professionalism.
I took my 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe for a second opinion regarding an engine issue. Lonnie’s went above and beyond to find out the problem. They were very detailed with information giving us great feedback to make informed decisions. They are very knowledgeable and their passion for what they do is evident. I would definitely do service with them again.
