We had a really smooth and seamless process with Louisville Handyman. The team was kind, clear, and competent. Brayden, our handyman, was efficient and did a nice job trimming our cabinets to fit over a new microwave and fixing a couple of doors.
Joe came out to do some work at my house, inside and out. His masterpiece was the reconstruction of my steps from my kitchen to the garage. The treads were too small and created an unsafe situation . I can now take out the recycling and trash safely and not have to worry about falling. He also installed hand rails for additional safety. I work from home and he was unobtrusive and kind. I appreciated his work and his demeanor. I’d recommend him and his company to anyone. An additional shout out to Abbie who came to assess the work needed and she made sure that the job was completed successfully and that I was happy.
We had a previously installed fireplace that was giving us major problems. Shawn came out and removed the fireplace, put insulation in the opening along with better framing. He then reinstalled the fireplace along with a new mantel. I would recommend this company for any repairs you may have. Thank you Shawn and Louisville Handyman for a wonderful experience!
I had wood rot on my porch posts and balustrades and the crossheads of two windows. Brian, the estimator, gave me some good options and suggestions. Rather than replace just the bottom of the post , they found an entire matching post and rather than replace whole crossheads and risk some restructuring, we decided to repair the damaged portions.John and Trav were the craftsman that did the work. They were excellent! They knew what they were doing and didn't waste any time. They used a metal post jack to hold the roof up for the full post and cut out a couple of rotting sections of the balustrade and replaced them so you couldn't even notice. They replaced the rotten trim on the crossheads with polyurethane trim and made a few blocks to replace the rotten parts of the crossheads. Then the painter team came a few days later and the the whole thing was pressure washed, sanded and painted. It's hard to find a good contracter for anything these days especially for a smaller job like this. I am completely satisfied and would recommend a consulation with Louisville Handyman for the projects you can't handle yourself.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing experience with Louisville Handyman and Remodeling! I needed someone to replace my old rusted wooden handrails and make my front entry safe and welcoming again. After seeing their excellent reviews online, I submitted my request with a few pictures, and their project manager Abbie contacted me right away to schedule an appointment. She offered a fair price and kept me updated throughout the entire process—even though it was just a 4-day project. What stood out most was their flexibility. I was busy moving my kids back to colleges, and Abbie went above and beyond by helping me order all the materials in advance before I even put down a deposit. My craftsman, Todd, did a fantastic job! He replaced the handrails with care and precision, kept the porch clean and tidy at the end of each day, and updated us on the plan before he left. The result: my front porch now looks beautiful and feels safe again. I truly appreciate the professionalism, clear communication, and quality work from Abbie, Scott, and the rest of the crew whose names I didn’t catch. Louisville Handyman and Remodeling will definitely be my first call for any future home projects!
