She is so attentive to all details, made sure my makeup and hair was the way I wanted and ensure I looked flawless throughout the day. She followed me all day to ensure that my big voluminous curls stayed voluminous and impeccable. Thank you for making me feel like a celebrity on my wedding day!! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Joyce (my bridal MUA) and Sherry (who did the makeup for my mom, bridesmaids, and my husband) from Louminous Makeup, and I cannot recommend them enough! From my first trial with Joyce back in February 2025 all the way to the wedding day, communication was seamless. They answered every question I had about skin and hair prep, and Joyce was always so generous in giving her second opinion on looks and outfits when I asked. She’s incredibly friendly and approachable — during both my trial and the wedding day (each about 3 hours long), her presence felt calming and uplifting. We could chat easily, or simply relax to the background music in comfortable silence. The look Joyce created for me honestly felt like watching an artist at work — the makeup was glowing, flawless, and never cakey. I received so many compliments, and it lasted beautifully all day thanks to the prep guidance they gave me. Joyce also stayed by my side the entire day, touching up whenever I cried (happy tears!) or when my now-husband “stole” my lipstick with all the kisses, haha. She even helped with small things outside her job description, like holding my dress, which really shows how much she cares. It’s so clear that she loves what she does, and that energy is exactly what you want around you on your wedding day. Sherry was equally wonderful — I really loved the makeup and hair she did for my mom. It looked very natural yet made my mom glow, which was so meaningful for me to see on such an important day. She also did a fantastic job with my bridesmaids and my husband, making sure everyone looked polished, radiant, and photo-ready while still feeling like themselves. Thank you so much to Joyce, Sherry, and the Louminous Makeup team for making us all feel and look our best on such an important day. You made the experience stress-free, fun, and unforgettable!
Aisha is THE BEST make up artist! She went above and beyond to make my wedding day perfect. I don't usually wear makeup, but she made me look so beautiful. I asked for natural looking make up that was a more elevated version of my normal look and she delivered. She works quickly, helping me change hairstyles right on schedule. Aisha made me feel so comfortable, following me to make sure my look stayed in place all day, fluffing up the back of my dress during our photos, and even chasing the wasps away from my bouquet! It felt like I had another friend by my side the entire day with her around! Words cannot express how grateful I am to her for helping my day feel so special.
