Zero stars! Loxx Salon is terrible. Liz is overpriced and under skilled! I sat in Liz Lamb’s chair for 3 hours. Liz will charge you by the hour. She charged me $400 dollars (tip not included ) I paid Liz to talk nonstop about herself. I had to listen to her tell me about her friend who is a drug addict and killed her newborn baby! The baby overdosed on drugs! I had to listen, as Liz told me she Killed her own dog. She neglected it! She was drunk and left it outside. This prolonged suffering in the Texas heat resulted in her dog overheating and its untimely death! I have Never gone into an establishment to get my hair done and left feeling as drained and unsettled in my life! My hair also turned out Ugly and unlike what we discussed in our consultation! Both her hair skills and professionalism are awful! The horrific topics of conversation I had to withstand for 3 hours was intolerable. Don’t waste your time or money. She made my brunette hair look like it has gray streaks and didn’t touch my new gray root growth. She offered to fix it but it isn’t worth it to me! Liz, your response to my Zero Star review is a Lie! … Liz and I discussed everything thoroughly before I left her salon. I was clearly unhappy with the results! Before Liz started, I showed her 4 pictures of Brunette hair with Caramel/Bronze highlights. She put Gray highlights against my brunette hair. Liz clearly does not understand color or toner! I also wanted to cover my gray roots ….this did not happen. After I left the salon we further…In a phone conversation and Text messages also talked about how unhappy I was with my Expensive service. I felt I was overcharged and I did not get what I asked for….the service was not worth the money! Liz offered to pay me $700 dollars to take down my 100% True review! Liz never disagreed with anything I said she only wanted to Pay me to take down my review. Liz stated this was the only way she would Refund my money! I Refused Liz Lamb’s offer!
Liz is an absolute gem! She’s fun, welcoming, and incredibly talented, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. From the moment you walk into her salon, you feel comfortable and taken care of. She really listens, gives great advice, and somehow always nails exactly what you want. The vibe of her salon is warm and positive, and the results are consistently amazing—my hair has never looked or felt better. If you’re looking for a skilled hairdresser who runs her own beautiful salon and makes the whole experience enjoyable, Liz is the one. Highly recommend!
I have been one of Liz’s clients for over 10 years and even though I don’t live in the same city anymore, I still make special trips to have my hair done by her after trying other stylists and being very disappointed. My hair is tricky to cut properly and Liz is so knowledgeable about how to work with my hair type to get the desired results. She is also a magician when it comes to color, especially with blonde shades that other stylists struggle to get right. She’s always been honest about what’s possible to expect and what the process will be like to reach a certain goal. If you’ve struggled to find a stylist that you can truly trust and actually delivers quality cuts and color, Liz is definitely worth booking with!
Liz is an absolutely amazing stylist! Great experience and loved just how beautiful my color and style turned. She even checked in with me days later to ensure I was pleased with the services she provided. Loved my whole experience…head and shoulder massage prior to starting any of the services, color, shampooing was so relaxing and finally the cut and style. Thank you Liz!!!
