We played ‘the orphanage’ escape room with Ellen as our host. She was super friendly and really went with the whole horror vibe of the room. The room itself was very fun, the clues were a bit tricky but deffo manageable. It was a well thought out room and very enjoyable. Everyone had their part to play. Would book again !

We had such a wonderful time at Lucardo Escape room- Prison Escape. Our host was Lucy and she was so sweet and very good at making the entire experience even better. Everything was well put together.. 100% recommend and would definitely be going again!!

Experienced ‘The Orphange’ led by Ellen. Ellen was super welcoming but also made the experience really fun with her superb acting skills. I went with a group of 5 friends, it was an exciting room to figure out but nothing too scary definitely would be suitable for teenagers and adults. The clues were tricky but not impossible. Happy Escaping! (Ps. There are NO actors if you don’t like that sort of thing)

We did 'The Prison' and had an amazing time - super immersive, and the puzzles were interesting without being ridiculously hard or too simple. Chelsea was our game host and she played an amazing prison guard! She created a truly exciting experience - my friend had his fit bit on and his heart rate went crazy! Would definitely recommend and will 100% go again.

My partner booked the Wizards Chest for four of us to celebrate my birthday. The four of us usually love escape rooms, tabletop games and logic puzzles but we were pretty unimpressed by the Wizards Chest. The puzzles did not seem very logical and some of the clues were straight up unhelpful. At one point, I kid you not, a pre-recorded voice from the chest told us “the crystals; something happens with them.” We literally had a laugh at what a terrible clue that was. It was also disappointingly linear. One of the things we love about an escape room is that there’s usually multiple puzzles to solve at once, allowing every member of the group to always remain engaged on a task. It seems wild to me that they would allow four people to book an experience where you can only solve one puzzle at a time. We felt we got a pretty cold greeting from the staff member running the room. He wasn’t very warm and friendly and rather than explaining the game in a fun and engaging way, he just gave us a printed laminate to read. We asked if there was anywhere we could leave our coats and he told us to just dump them in the room. The room that housed the chest had clearly been used as an escape room in the past as the walls were covered in intriguing clues, so it was a little disappointing to learn that these clues had nothing to do with the chest itself. It might have been nice once in a while to have to look elsewhere in the room for clues to solve the chest’s various puzzles. The last straw for us was that one of the puzzles didn’t even work properly, we were struggling with it for ages before we realised it was faulty which cost us a lot of time. The staff member acknowledged that it was temperamental, he even gave it a try and couldn’t get it to work, but didn’t offer any gesture of recompense or even a meaningful apology. Left feeling disappointed, definitely not worth £80. Wouldn’t book again.
