Kamal has done my hair for over three years now. He does a great job of listening to my vision but i’ve also gone in and said do whatever you think looks good and i always leave feeling amazing! He’s professional and the overall team at Lumen Salon is so high class but also friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!
I’ve been self conscious of my thin hair and I wanted to get extensions for my wedding! When I first arrived at Lumen I was so nervous about getting extensions for the first time but Shana and Kamal held my hand every step of the way explaining everything to me with such patience and providing instructional care videos! They made me feel so comfortable immediately!! They even tightened and made tweaks based on my wedding hairstyle a week before! If you’re thinking of getting extensions for the first time this is the place to go!! I’m obsessed with my hair and this duo is the best in town!! Love my hair and them!

In Shana we trust! I’ve been trusting Shana with my hair since 2019, whether that’s me trying something new or throwing out a concept of colors usually based on varieties of chocolate confections - she just *gets it!* Nails it every time! Not only does she make my hair look incredible, I learn something new each time I visit. Like techniques for drying my hair that I would have never thought to try or ways to make curls last on straight hair that just doesn’t want to hold a curl. Goes without saying, I always look forward to sitting in her chair at Lumen and thrilled she is successful in her entrepreneurial era!
I have very thick long hair and I’m starting to show some grey. Other salons never cut and color my hair correctly. Lumen is the first place that does it right. My hair looks so nice when I’m done I feel 10 years younger. Shana Dee, the owner, is the best hair stylist ever. The cleanliness, warm and inviting atmosphere makes me feel special. I’ve never seen a salon like this before. it’s a wonderful experience.
