The nail salon was busy, so I get why she was working fast, however, 80$ for nails that barely lasted 2 weeks and the nails are just popping off at this point. There is glue build up under my nail and I can feel it on my skin. I was trying to wait and make this post, but the first nail popped off at 1 week and the other 2 today.
My first time here on a Saturday. I must say I am very happy with their very friendly service. It is the weekend before Christmas and was very busy, but I only had to wait 15 mins which really isn't too bad considering before the holidays. While I was there, I can tell that there are repeat and regular clients which means I highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a new Nail Salon. However, keep in mind this location is in downtown.
LV Nails & Spa in downtown San Diego is clean, friendly, and efficient. The staff is professional and welcoming without being pushy. The nail technicians take their time but still move quickly. They always make sure you are happy before finishing. The gel polish lasts well with no early chipping. They do a great job with designs too! (See pic). I also get my eyebrows waxed here super good price and easy/fast. You can usually walk in, but calling ahead or scheduling appointments help avoid short waits especially on weekends. Highly recommend this place! This is my go to nail salon!
1 star is generous. Ridiculously over priced the lady was aggressive don’t understand how she butchered my natural nails and does not know what an even nail polish application is I have a big cut on my pinky from the nail tech and on my pointer finger. Nails shaped unevenly and there’s large lumps. Then she demanded a tip over 20% raising her voice and also they don’t take American Express. This salon is awful there was another lady getting her nails done who had to ask the nail tech to redo her whole nails bc of the bad job.
I came in as a walk in while on vacation. I didn’t have to wait despite them looking busy with most chairs full already. Kim did my pedicure and she did a great job! Massage well done with good pressure and really made my feet and legs feel better. The massage chair was better than most also. Really happy either way this service and would be a regular customer if I lived in the area :)
