Booked as a 'romatic 2 course dinner cruise' as advertised. Music was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talk. Many times, by different people including boat staff, the 'guy' in charge with music was asked to turn it down. Didn't. If I wanted a 'party' boat that's what I would have booked. Far from the romatic cruise they advertise. Nice food and sunset
We did the dinner cruise and sun set. What a great night. The food was fantastic and the staff were awesome. Music was great, and the cruise was so relaxed. Danced and met some really nice people. The scenery was amazing, just lucky to get some good weather. We recommend this cruise.!!!
I'd like to start by giving this experience 4.5 ☆. So many aspects deserved 5 ☆ except for a couple of small details. 1. The boat. Lovely and clean. Modern and bright and the tables were spaced out enough that we had privacy. It did get a bit hot and stuffy at times but a visit out to the back of the boat allowed us to cool off in the fresh air. The loyalty free music was a bit like being stuck in an elevator at times :) 2. The staff. Lovely, professional yet relaxed. Attentive and polite. 3.The food. I was very grateful that Magic charters cater to Vegans and I was able to have a vegan version of the high tea while my husband had his own regular high tea and the couple next to us had a Celiacs version of the high tea. Tea, Coffee and sparkling wine top ups were offered regularly throughout the event. The quality of the food and drinks however were a little underwhelming. A lot (if not all) were obviously store bought items but not unpleasant, just average. 4.The cruise. It was so interesting to see Melbourne from so many sides as well as the shipping areas and Williamstown. Getting up so close to the shipping container ships really makes you feel very small in comparison. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was relaxed enough while still feeling a bit special. It was a great finish to our day in the CBD and we would highly recommend it to anyone.
Fantastic cruise. The menu and drinks on offer was amazing. The staff were very attentative to our needs and the freshly caught (that morning) oysters were to die for, I've never tasted any sweeter or tastier than them. The captain pointed out there was a seal outside which was exciting to see. Melbourne, what a beautiful place to be.
J'ai acheté 2 billets pour l'anniversaire de mon partenaire. Wow, quelles deux heures formidables... En naviguant autour de Docklands et de la baie. Tout était parfait. La nourriture était très savoureuse et nous étions rassasiés à la fin de la croisière. Du vin mousseux à volonté, ainsi que du thé et du café. Le personnel était sympathique et efficace. Le bateau était propre et en bon état. Nous avions une table pour deux en bas; il y a aussi des tables à l'étage. Je recommande vivement.
