I recently did the charcoal drawing class and loved it so much! It was so cool to see my skills and confidence change in just one class. Definitely coming back to learn more :)
I loved my first visit to Magnolia studio. Lovely location in heritage pub location with free street parking of 2 hours nearby. Friendly people, both new comers and regular attendees. Lovely teacher, encouraging to all, generous in sharing experiences but also happy for everyone to just have fun and experiment. PS forgive my picture it's my first attempt. I'll be back for sure!
I’ve just started my journey with the Illuminations March 4 week art course. The first weeks watercolour workshop, which was a first for me, was so much fun. All materials supplied and with great guidance and teachings from Bianca. It was a lovely atmosphere and looking forward to the next three weeks and the other mediums we will explore.. and then maybe some more with the loyalty card where after 5 classes you get one free! This was such a midweek treat, I highly recommend it.
This was my second time attending a Magnolia Studios event. Bianca really breaks down the process of art making and provides quality materials and advice in an awesome setting. I’ve learned a lot at each of her sessions. Each session used a different medium and prompt, it’s great to break out and try new things. I will be back. Thank you for creating such lovely experiences for all sorts of artists and those activity seekers out there 🤩
Bianca is the most wonderful and cultivating art teacher. I've always wanted to do something like this but was intimidated of starting. She creates a welcoming, comforting space where students can explore themes that are passionate to them with no prior experience. On my first class, I remember her mentioning to add a bit of purple to my clouds which I would never have considered but made the painting. She treats every artwork with respect and shows genuine passion about sharing her craft.
