Overall, a relaxing and positive experience — I’d happily come back. I came in for a gel pedicure with the Herbal Foot Soak treatment, and wow — the treatment felt so good. I’d been on my feet all day the day before, and it was exactly what I needed. Ly Ly was my technician and she was wonderful: kind, gentle, and really thorough. The gel pedicure was definitely worth it. The salon itself is clean and comfortable, nothing overly fancy. What really stood out, though, was how easy it was to book — they actually answered the phone! I called six other nail salons before this one, and no one picked up. I even left with a little gift from them, which was such a sweet touch.
ive been here quite a few times now, but i dont think i will be coming back anymore unfortunately. the staff seem nice, but whenever i bring up something that has happened (small cuts or over filling) i just get told the same thing, “ohh im so sorry, i’ll make sure that wont happen again next time” and then it happens again, almost every time im here.😕 i havent been offered a discount or anything. i have been cut and overfilled a few times now and it really irritates my skin, and i have told them this every time. they are also pretty expensive, i understand they are a bit more “upscale” but i dont know. its $25 just for the french tip design i usually get. they are also a bit unclear on the prices, i was told once it would be $5 less than the price i ended up with. its not the most hygienic, i will say i am not a nail technician myself nor have i taken any cosmetic classes, but my nail tech has dropped a nail drill bit on the ground before, and was still going to use it on me after picking it up off the ground, but i ended up saying something about it and she did change it. the brushes/work area doesnt seem to be cleaned/disinfected after each client but again, i dont know if they are really required to. just something i noticed and dont quite like since im paying alot. the male technician who works on pedicures paints and shapes very well though!! i dont like the pedicures here otherwise, because usually the water is pretty cold, and they never ever get the rough skin on the bottom of my feet off, i leave feeling disappointed and i cant really say anything since they never do anything about it.
Mahalo has been my go-to nail salon for over a year now. Demi does an amazing job- she’s super creative and precise. I bartend, and this is the first place I’ve gone where my set has lasted without breaking down bc of the job I do. Thank you!
the best salon in the twin cities! I just moved to San Diego and have not yet found anywhere that comes close! The artists are all amazing but Lynsey was my favorite. The base nail was always clean and long lasting, up to a month, and the art she did for me was nothing short of fantastic.
Everyone was very nice and the salon was comfortable. Unfortunately, I left with many cuts on my fingers and my toe started oozing puss from the pedicure. Disappointing to spend $120+ for crooked nails and messy powder.
