The salmon sashimi and nigiri platter was actually mindblowing!! The fish was soo fresh and had the perfect umami taste.. The wasabi also didn’t seem as strong as other places which was perfect for me. I definitely recommend trying 🥰
We order a pork and a beef dish.... to be honest they both smelt delicious, but unfortunately were both tasteless. The meat certainly was up to standard .. would NOT return
Friendly and fast service. We enjoyed the teriyaki steak with grilled veggies, the miso chicken pot and the miso eggplant which was one of the specials. Everything tasted fresh and clean. We would definitely come back to Maji when we return to Canberra.
Two fantastic meals while visiting Cambara. Great Japanese restaurant with a good selection 👌 and everything we had was yummy. Definitely recommend. Good quality food Lovely staff Very nice restaurant with a warm friendly atmosphere. Quiet so easy to talk.
Haven’t been to Maji for a couple of years. It was good before and now it’s excellent. The quality of the food and its presentation was outstanding and overall great value. The Takoyaki was fresh and tasty, the chicken teriyaki (my favourite) was also very tasty and the side vegetables cooked to perfection - a bit crunchy which was good. Also enjoyed the beef Sukiyaki with noodles. Parking is easy, atmosphere and layout great with a nice outlook. Much easier parking and eating here than nearby Civic. Staff friendly and helpful. Added bonus is BYO.
