First off, it took me way too long to write this review but I figure better late than never. Carly is a true artist and professional as a makeup artist. Couple of key points that you must know: 1. CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! When Carly did my practice run, we have a couple of things come up. I liked my makeup but the concealer shined in flash lighting, some of the colors were a little bright for my liking, and the lashes felt really heavy. The important piece is: A- she did a practice run so we didn't find this out on wedding day. She corrected everything and I was so happy with my makeup. B- When I told her about the color choices she was gracious, and totally responsive to what I wanted...not what she thought looked best. My comfort was her #1 concern. C- She went out and found extra light, perfect lashed especially for me and my sensitive eyes. Above and beyond service. 2. PROFESSIONAL and FLEXIBLE!!! Carly did full makeup for me, my mom and a bridesmaid, then she did lashes and eyes for 8 other bridesmaids and eyes for the flower girls. She was accommodating, professional and FAST :) She is hysterical and personable too! 3. VALUE!!! Worth every penny! Even after the 100+ degree day, outdoor wedding and when my husband smashed cake right into my eyes my makeup looked good!! Yes, he is the worst LOL! I had to pull off my lashes, cause there was cake in them. My makeup held up. I would hire Carly for any makeup needs in the future and I have recommended her for several friends weddings (which she did) since! 2023 Update: my review was originally written in 2015. Today I added some photos from my wedding and another wedding I was the MOH that Carly did my makeup for both. She did mine and my sisters full makeup, and the bride and bridesmaids in the other photo ♥️ She has done my makeup for 4 weddings and her team did my hair in 2 of them in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2021. She was just as wonderful at the first one as the last! I always love my natural but dramatic look EVERY TIME. Her team is amazing and she is just all around a beautiful souls inside and out. Highly recommend.

Carly is the real deal! Professional, responsive, and an absolute expert in her craft. If you can imagine it, she can do it. I have only used her once BUT it is only bc the other times i tried to book her she was already booked for another job!!! She is always my first pick for makeup and hair. (I just trust if i need hair she wont bring along someone that does mediocre work bc that’s just who she is)

She has even done makeup classes as well as shown me specifically what to buy and how to apply at home! I have recommended her to multiple people who also love her. Carly is an amazing professional! She is always on time, she is fun to work with and you can arrive at her studio as a tired person, with dark circles around the eye and your hair on a ponytail, but after meeting with her you will leave looking like a goddess! Carly has the power of bringing your best features and hiding the ones that are not so flattering! I used to be a photographer and I would always ask Carly to do my clients makeup and hair prior to a photoshoot. Thank you for being awesome!
