Everything was amazing! My sister and I went here for lunch. I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Sushi. It was delicious. My sister had the chicken ramen bowl which she also throughly enjoyed. We also ordered the chicken gyoza and the teriyaki chicken sides, absolutely delicious. For dessert, I grabbed myself the strawberry mochi ice-cream which was so good! The customer service was wonderful, the staff were very kind and welcoming. The vibes were fantastic, the place is pretty and the music is good. I definitely recommend this place!!
The food itself was good and well-prepared, which made the experience disappointing in contrast to the service. The waitstaff were aloof and largely non-attentive throughout the meal. One example was when our sushi arrived very late, and the waiter placed it down without acknowledging us or making eye contact. When I asked for napkins, I was ignored entirely. The manager was polite and handled concerns decently when approached, but overall the lack of attentiveness from the waiters significantly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable visit. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed the quality of the food.
Cold, wet and hungry we wandered into Maki & Ramen to escape the Glasgow weather. What a find!! The tastiest meal I’ve had in weeks and best ramen ever. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was excellent.
One of the best meals I've ever had. I had the black garlic tonkotsu ramen, chicken karaage, the edemame and the coconut and lychee martini. Ramen was sensational, the flavour in that broth is unbelievable. The chicken karaage lived up to every expectation, exactly what I hoped it would be, so savoury and juicy. Martini was also lovely. The service was fab aswell, the woman who greeted me at the door was very friendly and had great energy for the last hour of the work day.
What a great experience! We stopped in on a very rainy day and were so glad we did! My mom raved about their sushi and I enjoyed some chicken yakisoba. Excellent flavor and so comforting. The staff were super attentive and friendly.
