We stopped in for a quick lunch break based on previous reviews. The long but quick-moving line proved to me that the food was worth the wait! Service was excellent as was our sandwich and specialty drinks! The only negative was that the tables are cramped together making it difficult to navigate and they were all occupied. We ended up borrowing half a table (2 seats) from 2 other diners but felt compelled to eat quickly to free up our space for others looking to sit. We will definitely stop by again but try to time it during non-peak hours.

Food and service was amazing - I got the ham and cheese sandwich on an everything croissant. Stanley was our server and he also went above and beyond - his service was top notch. He brought our food as it came out and answered any questions we had. Ambiance and the quality of food was also top notch!

Maman Bakery Café is always so crowded—and for good reason! 🥐✨ The pastries are fragrant, fresh, and perfectly crispy, and the coffee and drinks are delicious and well-balanced ☕️🍰. The café is very clean, beautifully decorated, and gives off such a cozy holiday vibe 🎄🤍. Perfect spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy quality treats. Highly recommend! 😍👌

Diego at Maman was amazing and made the whole experience even better. He was extremely attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect for us. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and everything came out exactly as ordered. I suggest Andrea’s everything croissant and salmon sandwich. Plenty of gluten free options. I enjoyed my iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup. The chocolate pistachio croissant was to die for.

I was traveling to Washington DC for work and stumbled upon Maman Bakery, just about two blocks from the Grand Hyatt — and wow, what an incredible find! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the smell of fresh pastries was unreal. I ordered breakfast here and everything was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The quality of the food really stood out, and you can tell they put a lot of love into what they serve. This quickly became one of my favorite spots in the city. If you’re staying nearby or just exploring DC, definitely make time for Maman. You won’t regret it! 💯
