We came for the Magic coffee, we heard it was good - and the verdict? Yes! We loved it! We arrived around 9:30 am on a Saturday, plenty of tables available. We chose to sit at the counter against the wall. The cafe filled up within the hour. Service is really good, staff serve customers with smiles. Coffee arrived quickly, food soon after. We were so looking forward to sinking our teeth into the Reuben sandwich, a New York City special. It was much bigger in NYC, so we were kind of deflated that the sandwich here was not as compact. Loved the taste though. Loved the ambience and had a good time on the whole. It was a Saturday so if you are going on a weekend, be aware that there will be that surcharge. Will we come again? Oh yeah!
Busy place means good coffee-and it was. We got a table with no booking - thank you. A lot to chose for lunch. It was yummy and lovely staff.
Great service, nice atmosphere and delicious food! I had an oat latte and the maple & bacon bagel (blueberry bagel with bacon, banana, maple syrup, mascarpone and... Popcorn! 🍿). Definitely coming back ❤️
Love Manchester Press! This is one of those spots you stumble on and instantly feel glad you did. Down little Rankins Lane, it’s got that classic Melbourne laneway charm — a bit tucked away, a bit quirky, and humming with good energy once you’re inside. The coffee is excellent and the food is insanely good. The Cuban sandwich deserves a special mention — packed with flavour and big enough to keep you full and happy all afternoon. Pair that with the quirky artwork lining the walls and you’ve got the perfect brunch spot with plenty of character to show off to your interstate friends. Highly recommend!
One of the best bagel poached eggs with salmon and avocado I have tasted. Coffee was good too. Loved the food, service was good and the place is nice. We walked in and got a seat immediately. Probably cos it was a Monday, workday.
