Ever since ownership changed and Dr. Greenberg left the business, this hospital has been a disaster. Most of their good reviews belong to the time that he was part of the business. I left them a couple of years ago and I have been very happy with the new clinic that has been looking after my fur babies.

I took my cat to Manitou Animal Hospital for a skin concern, her yearly vaccination, and a general check-up with Dr. Kristyne Smith. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I felt that not enough time was spent examining my cat. She was weighed and taken for her vaccine by staff, but I expected a more thorough check-up from the doctor afterward. When Dr. Smith did come in, the visit was very brief, and the only recommendation I received was a dental visit. I later had my cat checked at another clinic, where I was told her overall health was fine and that the dental concern wasn’t urgent. Also, the skin treatment provided during this visit didn’t help, as her condition is still ongoing. I’ve been to other veterinary clinics where the routine exams were much more detailed, so this felt rushed in comparison. I left feeling unheard and unsatisfied with the level of care and communication. I hope the clinic can improve the amount of time spent with patients and their communication with pet owners in the future.

Any vet I’ve had at Manitou has been amazing, but my last few appointments have been with Doctor Andrea and I would highly recommend her and her office! She is warm, knowledgeable, and trustworthy! The whole staff is very patient with my cats and you can tell they’re huge animal lovers. I never feel like I’m being oversold products or services, I am often just going in for shots and a check up and heading out. When my cats have needed more support, they do a thorough job getting to the bottom of what they might need for that time being. Thanks Manitou for being so good to my boys!

Our family has been using Manitou Animal Hospital for many years, and they have seen our guinea pigs, rabbit & dogs. Our pets, have enjoyed their visits, as the staff always make them feel welcomed and relaxed. Our recent puppy just had her vaccines & the doctor went out of her way to ensure our pup was relaxed and distracted for her vaccine so she wouldn't be scared at her next visit. Her exam was thorough and not rushed. The support staff is warm and knowledgeable.

We bring our fur baby here. The doctors (vets and nurses here treat them like they're own. The compassion they show for both fur baby and parent/parents is fully expressed in the care they show. We've been coming here for 20 years. And highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinarian who does a wonderful job because they love of animals. And want to see them live they're best life happy and healthy.
