Fantastic place and good guitars, I got my indio there and a p-bass, I would definitely come again, one question; do you work on holidays?
Fantastic music shop! Owner will help with what you are looking and offer good recommendations. Tons of cool instruments and fun to look around at everything in the store. Definitely worth a visit for stringed instrument desires and it is possible to find other hidden treasure instruments. Check it out
I never write bad reviews, but this time I feel it is my duty to warn others. I went and asked for a cheap guitar to play during my holidays in LA. I said I had a 100 dollar bill and the clerk smiled. He went in the workshop and brought a used guitar in very bad condition. It had sand inside and the gears barely turned. He happily took my 100$ and gave me a set of new strings. I trusted him so I actually didn't look at the guitar so much in the shop. When I got home I inspected it a bit more and realised I might not be able to change strings due to the bad gears. I looked up the brand and model and even new they're cheaper than 100$ (can't remember the brand, but it was mexican). When I came back to the shop to return it, he was not very pleased to see that I realised that I had been scammed. He got me another used guitar and told me: "now go and don't come back", even though I had been polite through all of this. I see there's a lot of good reviews, so it might be that it was only this one clerk that is unprofessional. Otherwise I don't understand why I was treated so badly...
Just had two basses set-up here, one brand new Sire P-Bass and the other a 1990 Fender Jazz I've owned since '92. The set-ups were perfect, extremely well done, and my basses were treated with respect, came back polished and without a scratch. Do not be put off by the small size of this shop, Alex and his guitar tech really know their stuff, and are very pleasant to deal with.
The nicest music store in Los Angeles! Alex has everything you need for any instrument, and he has so much amazing equipment and music instruments for sale. He is a kind man and goes beyond to help musicians. He has so much for sale five hammer dulcimers, several drum kits, 1 million guitars ouds, trumpets stands everything, including Congas and much more!!!
