Absolutely useless. Earlier this week, I was sent a list of over 200 positions with various employers, most of which did not fit me, which makes me question why the agency took all this information about me when they don’t even use it. Also, it appears that most of those employers, especially government agencies are not serious about hiring qualified candidates since John Plane, the gentleman I’m working with informed me that most of the time my application will never get looked at if the agency doesn’t get enough of them. When I told him how displeased I was, he laughed. I don’t find anything about this situation funny, but apparently these people think it’s just a joke. Anybody who tries to work with these people will simply be wasting their time. I know how to apply for a job, write a resume, and interview. What I need is to be connected to EMPLOYERS WHO ARE SERIOUS ABOUT HIRING. AJCC simply doesn’t have the resources. The people at this office have no incentive to actually find you a job or help in anyway. Everyone wonders why many veterans are suicidal, it’s because people keep offering us help and then just make our lives more difficult. So just stop, stop saying you’re helping, and stop believing that you are.

I had the pleasure of working with Mimi during my RESEA appointment, and I couldn’t be more impressed with her professionalism. From the moment we began, she was not only knowledgeable and thorough but also incredibly patient and attentive to my needs. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood each step of the process. Her expertise and positive attitude made what could have been a stressful appointment a smooth and even enjoyable experience.

I met a really helpful job coach here. She helped me with my resume, with locating positions, and with mock interviews. I highly recommend their free services while looking for a job. They can currently meet with you on Zoom or in-person.
