I went to Marks of Art Tattoo in Camden to start my sleeve. I had a unique vision and I wanted somewhere that would get it, and then have the chops to execute. I couldn’t be more happy with the tattoo, the experience and my artist Chris.
I decided to get a tattoo and heard great things about Marks of Art. I stopped by and was met by a really sweet, younger guy that showed an older gentleman who was playing cards, The design I wanted.There was no one in the Tattoo shop so they were obviously not busy. The older gentleman that worked there was extremely rude to me when he could've just been nice and communicative. I ended up leaving and going to the Black Lantern Tattoo. Best decision I have evermade they were friendly, nice and obviously wanted to do my Tattoo And it turned out amazing things to Nova! I don't like leaving bad reviews but when you're so disrespected, this is what they get
I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of working with Ross Ferrie. He provided incredible feedback from his clearly long history in the business to make sure I got the exact tattoo I wanted. The idea I had coming in got changed in to something I would have never thought of and I just COULDN’T be happier with the end result!! He was very attentive to what I was looking for and used his extensive knowledge to absolutely perfect it. Very professional, courteous, HONEST, and insightful. It was my first tattoo and I just couldn’t be luckier it was with Ross. By the way, didn’t hurt at all. The rumors are not true! On the deltoid at least. Edit: I had such an amazing experience I came back for a SECOND tattoo!!
What a great shop, super established and remarkable artistry! Scotty who owns the shop is such a cool dude, been tattooing for over 35 years. This place has won Silicon Valley's best tattoo shop almost every year.
