Food is really good, they have some of the best soft taco shells outside the mission. Service is typically a bit slow but allows you to enjoy the meal. Happy hour deal daily 12-5 is great!
Absolutely loved the food at Matador! I got the veggie enchiladas with verde sauce and it was amazing. Not too spicy, which was great. They do have a killer hot sauce for spice lovers.
Absolutely loved this place! The restaurant itself is clean, cute, and artsy. It was such a great vibe. The food was delicious from start to finish. We ordered chicken flautas to start, and I had the beer-battered fish tacos, which were incredible. My partner had the carnitas tacos and loved them. We also had the churros. No regrets! The drinks were a highlight! We started with a pitcher of the prickly pear margarita (so good!), then tried the cucumber jalapeño margarita, a mango margarita, and my personal favorite - the Flores y Dulces. So refreshing and perfectly made. The service was truly 5-star. The bartender was super friendly, and our waiter Uriel was amazing…welcoming, attentive, and full of great recommendations. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Had a really great experience at Matador Restaurant in San Francisco! The food was delicious—fresh flavors, well-seasoned, and everything came out just right. Definitely left happy and full. Special shoutout to my hostess, Anhelina. She was genuinely kind, gentle, and really great at her job. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in and checked on us just the right amount without being overbearing. It’s always nice when someone truly enjoys what they do! The vibe of the place was inviting, and overall, I’d definitely recommend stopping by for a good meal and some warm hospitality
The food here was great and my partner seemed to also enjoy the cocktails. We went during happy hour which was also a plus. I Enjoyed the enchiladas with Verde sauce a lot. The salsa had a weird amount of oregano in it but that's like my only complaint.
