I contacted a couple of electricians for a quote to replace an ancient fuse box in a house I was just buying. MB Electrical was a fraction more expensive, but was the only one to understand without explanation that I hadn't yet moved in and therefore couldn't send a picture yet as I hadn't thought to photograph the fusebox on viewing. Plus he had other excellent reviews. Anyway, very glad I went with Michael as due to some unusual wiring choices there were significant complications potentially leaving us without power to a lot of vital things. Not only was Michael willing to consider any solution to make sure we had it set up safely enough not to catch fire etc, he stuck with the original quote despite all the extra work involved which probably saved me a few hundred pounds. Before he found a solution he was willing to come back before working hours the next day to make sure we had access to essentials as soon as possible. He was also happy to answer any of my inane questions throughout the process. You can tell he is honest and genuinely cares about the customer and the job, which is the best anyone can ask for and why I highly recommend going with him.
Michael came swiftly to fix my lights / switches even though only a small job. He checked the work to be done and confirmed it was just the dimmer switches to be changed which kept the cost lower. He was very friendly and did a great job. I would highly recommend Michael and he will definitely be my 'go to' electrician.
Michael really helped us out today, was happy to help try to diagnose our issue over the phone to avoid a callout, but still came to us within the hour. Was refreshingly upfront about pricing and generally a really friendly guy. He explained everything in detail and made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything going on. He diagnosed our issue and and fixed as much as possible on the day, leaving us with practical advice on remedial works with no pressure. Responsive, really friendly, would highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.
