Definitely not company you want to bartend for! The way they do tips is so messed up. You’re relying on bartenders on other events to do well just for you to do well. say you make $500 in tips at your event you don’t get to split it up between your bartenders there and go home with it. You have to wait for it to go on your check. and those tips you made or split up between all the events. It’s a complete joke.

I had the pleasure of working with McCalls Catering for a fundraising event at the Exploratorium, and I cannot sing their praises enough. Heather's meticulous preplanning ensured that every detail was seamlessly taken care of well in advance and the food was absolutely delicious. On-site, Julia and the team were a force to be reckoned with. Their efficiency and lightning-fast service left a lasting impression on both myself and our guests. McCalls Catering truly went above and beyond to ensure that every culinary aspect of the event was nothing short of perfection.

There is certainly a reason why McCall’s is one of the most respected names in Bay Area Catering. They recently catered my 200 person wedding at the Legion of Honor Museum with expertise, professionalism, and deliciousness. They really are the most knowledgeable company working in all the SF event spaces. The Legion of Honor was an incredibly difficult space to work in. Being an active museum means set up times are tight, there is no kitchen, and a litany of other restrictions, but McCall’s handles everything and knows exactly what they are doing and how to execute excellence anyways. In particular Lee Gregory was a delight to work with. She understood that food (and craft cocktails) were incredibly important to my husband and me and worked to implement all of our culinary ideas. Lee is solution oriented and always finds a way to make it work. Thank you to Lee and McCall’s for the most delicious wedding! I know we couldn’t have pulled it off without you on our team!
