It is a delight to experience such excellence and service at McComb’s Barbershop. Scheduling is very easy on the website, and they have always been able to see me expediently. I love the aesthetic. The vintage TV setup typically featuring a deep cut from the horror genre is also super cool. Everything feels very organized and clean which is super important when it comes to hair. You can tell David has worked incredibly hard to build up an excellent business and product. Super happy to have him as my local barber!
My last visit was on the day that David Lynch died. I think David had Mulholland Drive on the TV. I got a great cut but also some commiseration in a time of great confusion and hurt. That’s what makes a place special, reaching out to the great stream, giving something back to it. Highly recommended, go get a haircut.
Jackie is the best barber I've found in Albuquerque. She does a great job with the scissors, clippers, and straight razor.
I absolutely love this barber shop! My sons were going with David (the owner) when he was at another shop and when he told us he was opening his own shop, we knew it would be just as amazing as his personality! He is great with kids and adults alike. He knows how to make them laugh and get a good sense of what they are looking for in a haircut. Great conversation and a true talent for this work. It’s obvious that he loves what he does!
My son has been going here for a little while and likes it a lot. He has curly hair, which can be difficult to do well, and David does a great job! Shop is less than a year old but feels like it's been there for 20+. Cool vibe, excellent service, excellent vinyl record collection. Highly recommend!
