I came in for a little bit of hylenex, a product I've gotten 4 times before both in small and large quantities. I've been to countless medspas and surgery clinics in the past decade, so I know what is standard etiquette in general. I expressed concern to the doctor several times about injecting without ultrasound (knowing I came to her specifically because she offered it) and she assured me over and over it was just a small amount and we didn't "need" the ultrasound, which was disappointing because it can only improve the accuracy of the product placement. After a consultation, there is usually a discussion regarding what would be done and the price based on the doctors recommendations, but she went straight into injecting, and there was a lot of product left in the vial when she was finished... but I was charged for 6cc's (4 vials) of product. This seemed like a mistake, and the receptionists had a difficult time even figuring out the unit of measurement I was even charged in. I was shocked by the $510 price, and the receptionist told me "I should know what prices are before I come in or stop the appointment if I would like to know", which was disappointing knowing I didn't have 4 syringes of product injected, there are no hylenex prices on their website, and that what you want going in is often different than what you land on in the consultation, and it's the practitioners job to make sure the patient knows and agrees to the service they are getting and the price before proceeding-- especially with a new patient. I do not believe I was charged the correct amount for the amount of product that was used, and I don't like the explanation I received. This was a disappointing experience.
I love MedBeautyLa! So far I’ve gotten lip filler, Botox, a chemical peel and I’m scheduled for a micro derm soon! My lips look phenomenal, the peel experience was very inviting. The only thing that I found a little strange was that the front desk woman didn’t believe me when I told her my aftercare was free but it was cleared up. I will always come back here and recommend it to my loved ones.
I love Med Beauty LA they are kind professional and supportive. I feel so taken care of at this spa. Had a very positive experience with my salt facial. Nicole is very nice and informative. Lori is very welcoming and also highly trained. I’m definitely going back!! They offer a lot!
I’m 35 yrs old and just had my first facial here. The establishment was clean and modern. It was very relaxing and my face felt a lot cleaner and hydrated than normal even after a few days. The esthetician also gave me specific skincare product recommendations after examining my skin. I’ll be back regularly.
