I slipped on ice and landed on my chin, and was bleeding a lot. I was pretty shaken up when I arrived at the Chevy Chase MedStar Urgent Care, and everyone was very empathetic and helped clean up my chin quickly. I needed a few stitches and the NP was excellent and also put me at ease. Within an hour, I was ok to go home and felt really well cared for.
Good service. Went quickly once I was seen. Good diagnosis and treatment. It was a good visit. The only negative thing is they don't validate parking (the reason they lose a star). There is daily valet parking behind the building, but it ain't cheap.
Needed help with bronchitis and my asthma on short notice. Booking online was very convenient. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly. I was seen within 20 minutes of arriving. The medical assistant was professional and warm, took a detailed history and checked my medication list. Likewise, the doctor was really nice, listening to how the problem started and how it was affecting my function. As hoped, he prescribed some meds to address the airway inflammation and told me to come back if breathing did not steadily improve within the week. Would certainly use this service again, when I cannot see my GP or specialists on short notice. Thank you Medstar :)
I was able to make an appt online. Got there before scheduled time. Check in was quick and wait time not bad. Was seen, tested and even got a room to wait in for the results. A prescription was sent to my nearby pharmacy. All went smoothly and efficently. I appreciated it so much since i felt lousy with high temperature. Thank you Medstar.
From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the level of care at MedStar Chevy Chase Urgent Care was exceptional. The entire team was truly amazing. I came in limping, and without me even asking, the front desk staff noticed my condition and immediately offered me an ice pack—such a thoughtful gesture. During triage, the nurse listened carefully to everything I shared, and the doctor who saw me was equally attentive. The care continued seamlessly from triage to X-ray and back. They even helped me put on my boot and demonstrated how to use it properly. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you so much to the entire MedStar Chevy Chase Urgent Care team. I highly recommend this location!
