The food was delicious. I ordered the Metro teriyaki chicken rice bowl. The chicken was amazing and the rice was pretty good too. They also have great shrimp and grits as well as amazing cheese curds. The service was good as well and the restaurant was clean though the booth seats were hard and not very comfortable. Overall a very good experience.
Metro never disappoints. For a Sunday, it was quite busy which I noticed firsthand it’s normal for their servers. Their clock on the wall was an hour ahead (why change it for daylight saving time) lol However, the timing of satisfying every customer was executed with so much efficiency. You can tell these servers are here to serve and it shows. Customer came to eat good food and go. These customers all knew why they were here because this location was full and within hours it was cleared with only a few customers remaining. Nothing has changed since my last visit. I will always pop in every now and then.
Second Metro for us, we set at the counter, what an experience, great view of the cooks, and a lot of action (show!) Sharn did a good job keeping us satisfied waiting on us. Cooks were fun to interact with. We split a brkft - it's that big! Then the cook mentioned pumpkin bread pudding... what, dessert for brkft... what a great concept!!😀😁 This was a 10/10 place, even other patrons were personal!! We'll be back for sure.
I must say the food and atmosphere was truly enjoyable. Especially after a long day or beginning your day. Had the buffalo chicken salad this time…let me say it did not disappoint. Fresh made to order and placed for an aesthetically pleasing view. Sat at the bar and the cooks were friendly. Mercedes suggested fried jalapeños to really bring the salad together. Waitresses offer recommendations on food. Pretty sure no matter what you pick you won’t be disappointed. Topped all this off with a flight of mimosas. Delicious!
I placed my order online; that was an easy process. When I arrived they were extremely busy, which is understandable since it was Saturday at 1pm. My order was already ready and I didn’t have to wait. I ordered a breakfast burger, and it was delicious! Prices are also reasonable. I definitely will be returning. No complaints :)
