Rick did an amazing job refinishing our dining room table. It was so beautiful that we then gave him two side tables to refinish. Again, he exceeded our expectations and brought back two tables that looked better than when I got them. He’s lovely to work with and his prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend him.
Rick is certainly the man for the job. Prompt, courteous, dependable and an overall nice guy. He refinished my dining room table and now I have a new dining room table. Rich Metz did amazing work on both of the jobs that he did for me! First I had him repair 2 badly broken wooden bedposts that I didn't think were possible to repair, but he somehow made them as good as new! He did such a great job with the wooden bedposts that I then hired him to repair a wooden table with a very intricately designed top, which I thought would be impossible to replicate, but he was able to repair the top so that it matched absolutely perfect to the rest of the top to where you can't even notice where the work he did was located at. He is by far the best refinisher and repair guy with wood that I have ever seen!!! I will use him in the future for any furniture repair jobs that I need done.
We chose Rick to refinish our Charleston Forge cherry table based on the great reviews from prior clients, we are very glad we did. Rick was very patient in explaining why the stain color we chose would not work with the cherry wood our table was made of. He led us through what was possible based on how the stain and wood would work together. The results, although very different from our initial design idea, are spectacular blending very nicely with the companion chairs and the feel of the kitchen. We have found that getting great results from quality wood and stain dsnds an experienced eye to help produce the results to be proud of. Rick, you are a master at wood finishes.
I had a custom made table with the finish peeling off due to water damage and the matching bench that my dog chewed on. The repairs and refinishing done by Rick Metz far exceeded our expectations. I could not be more pleased and would highly recommend Rick. He picked up our very heavy large table and had it back a week later looking better than new. A true craftsman.
