Went for my first show at Mic Drop Comedy recently to Jokoy, which alone was a truly unforgettable experience getting to see one of my faves in a smaller setting than the areas he usually sells out. The venue was run so smoothly and the staff were friendly. Upon entering, the staff sat us down at available seats as the show was clearly sold out. My husband and I ordered drinks and a snack to have before the show. We ordered the chicken katsu tenders and fries and they were surprisingly delicious! We had a good time and we can wait to come back for another show sometime soon!

First timer and had an amazing time here with my partner to see Leah Rudick! We really like the Alice in Wonderland theme and the energetic start with show host Rachel and Ritu Comedy. The crowd was fun as well with very professional improv interactions to make sure we all can have fun without hurting anyone's feelings. Definitely a San Diego gem for taking the weights off. We shared 1 cocktail, but it was plentiful. Really look forward to come to more shows!

My friends and I went to see Leah Rudick last night at Mic Drop Comedy in Clairemont. This place is so well run. All the staff is super friendly. And there is *a lot of staff* so you’re never having to wait long for food or drinks (so smart!). Our food and drinks were very good. We shared a Chinese chicken salad and some chicken tenders w/ fries 😋. And then we had the brownie sundae dessert. 🍨 Everything was really good and perfectly fresh. The restroom was very clean. And, of course, Leah Rudick was hysterical! What a great way to start off the new year! (We even made Leah 😂 laugh!) Also, I emailed the club with a question about my tickets on January 1st and within five minutes I got a response. I didn’t expect a response that fast, and not on a holiday. How impressive is that?!

I’ve been to over 30 shows since this venue opened and it is always a great experience! Main room and gold room are great. Top comics, excellent parking and great food make it the best comedy club in San Diego. Also major shout out to Natasha at the front. She always greets me by name! That’s pretty impressive for the amount of shows and people that come through. I appreciate her high level of customer service.

This venue surprised me in a very good way. We saw Tahir in The Gold room and it was not only a gorgeous space but it was very intimate. The staff was top notch, and attentive. We will make this place a regular stop on our nights out.
