5 years ago, my husband and I were toying with the idea of buying a house. Me, fresh out of college, and him just getting started on a career in fire. We had no idea what we were getting into but just for fun decided to respond to the Zillow question of “Would you like to tour this house, schedule a showing?” By chance, that showing up was assigned to Cristy Leck. We toured about 3 or 4 houses with her before we quickly realized we were way over our head and could not afford a house of any kind. Fast forward 3 years, my husband and I both have advanced in our careers and are ready to start looking for real. We didn’t think to reach back out to that first realtor, and took friends and family recommendations. We went through 3 realtors in 3 years of looking. Between the way stage of looking we would take a break and when we decided to start looking again we never felt comfortable enough with the realtors we had to reach back out. The last time we decided to get back into the market we discussed how the most comfortable with a realtor we have ever felt was the first one; Cristy Leck. She made looking fun and realistic, never showed us anything we could not afford but also didn’t waste our time with what we didn’t want. But even more importantly than that; she made looking at houses fun. I remembered her first name but not her last, I dug through my contacts and reached back out to ask if she would be willing to take us back on all these years later. The very first house we saw with her, after discussing in depth what we were looking for was exactly what we wanted. We finally bought the perfect house for us and we did it with Cristy as our realtor. She was incredible throughout the whole process and we are so grateful that when it came to buying our first home. The home we will be happy to be in for years to come, that we did it with Cristy and ReMax.
