This place was… pleasantly fine 😄 Food arrived hot, tasted good, and nobody in my group started questioning their life choices, which already puts it ahead of many dining experiences. Nothing blew my socks off, but also nothing made me want to dramatically push the plate away and sigh. A solid middle ground. Service was friendly, the vibe was nice, and my stomach left satisfied and not holding a grudge. Would I travel across town just for this? Probably not. Would I come back if I was nearby and hungry? Absolutely. Sometimes “just okay” is actually pretty great.

We had a 12 noon reservation on a Saturday. After a warm welcome and seating, we got set on perusing the menu. In December it’s hard to pass up on the seasonal menu and the two or three course options offer exceptional value for money. Our table had sea bass, the cod and the traditional turkey and ham, all of which were perfectly cooked, presented and served. The plates were so well balanced and thought out, every ingredient on the plate complimented the other- the exact same can be said for the desserts- the sticky toffee pudding is one of the best we’ve tried ever! And the chocolate hazelnut tart and lemon posset did some heavy lifting too! Despite being a busy pre Christmas service there was no rush- we relaxed into the homely atmosphere looking out at the gale blowing on Lanyon Quay. Millars has quickly become our favourite spot for lunch on a day to Belfast- visit if you can, as it never disappoints ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had an amazing experience at this seafood restaurant! The food was fresh, delicious, and truly exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Nooah, who was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He recommended the perfect dishes for us, checked on us throughout the meal, and made the whole experience even better. All of his colleagues were also friendly and welcoming, which added to the lovely atmosphere. We definitely enjoyed everything, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great seafood and outstanding service!

Incredible food and beautiful restaurant right on the water. We got the scallop appetizer, pan seared sea bass and sticky toffee pudding, all were to die for! 10/10 experience.

The staff are 10/10 and despite no booking welcomed us in. They were the perfect level of attentiveness. The restaurant feels luxurious in terms of decor and has a great ambience. The peartini cocktail was absolutely delightful. The food was okay. The steak was cooked well, but I found myself needing to smother it in the yummy garlic butter and peppercorn sauce rather than the meat being able to speak for itself. My friend found the seafood linguine excellent in terms of presentation but slightly rich and her focaccia a tad on the salty side. I would still recommend a visit!
