Misono is a great spot for families / big groups. Book ahead as it gets busy. The service was great and the staff were friendly. The vibe is very lively and casual almost like a mix between karaoke and a club lol! - people singing along and the chef dancing and doing tricks, so it’s definitely not the place for a quiet, fancy dinner. While the food was cooked well, we felt it was lacking a bit of flavour. We had the Seafood Deluxe and the kids had the Teppanyaki Steaks. The kids ate everything, which is a win! We think you go here for the entertainment and experience more than the food itself.
Amazing. Dinner and a show. We went as a table of 10. Perry our chef was awesome and engaging as was the young man chef at the table next to us. We had so much fun. Food is amazing, service is the most attentive ever for drinks or anything else. We had 1x celiac, and she was catered for. Nothing a problem. Amazing place. Truely dinner & a show. AMAZING!
A great way to spend a Wednesday night. Dinner and a show. The beef was the star of the show and the aburi wagyu we got as well was divine. Chef was funny and kept the vibes.
Great vibe and atmosphere only if you have good company or table full of people you know. Take your friends, family or work colleagues otherwise you’ll be seated with random people and it can be a hit and miss. We waited for almost 50 mins until the chef came out. Booking was for 8pm. My partner and I arrived at 8:03pm. We shared a table with a family of 4 who arrived about 15mins late. Our drink order was taken immediately however they didn’t arrive until 30 mins later. No water was offered in the meantime. Other tables that came in well after us had chefs cooking immediately. We almost walked out but stayed because my partner raved about this place (last went 2018) and when our chef did finally come out he was lovely. But even then the experience was turned sour as we noticed he didn’t stay long compared to the chefs on other tables. I guess the “vibe” wasn’t there. Food was average. You definitely pay for the experience…well in my case, lack of.
Now this was fun. You need to book it's very busy. The food was great, just one small problem the meat was a bit tough and it may have been a one off but honestly it's such a great experience. The chefs are great and entertaining you'll be laughing.
