DJ Ively and his team did an incredible job at our wedding!! He app was so easy to use, he was very collaborative and really understood the vibe we were going for, and so professional when we made some last minute changes to the program on the day of the wedding. Not to mention his mixing skills were TOP notch - creative such an incredible vibe and kept people on the dance floor. I honestly wish I had some of his mixes recorded back so that I could listen to them back! All our guests said it was some of the best wedding music they've ever heard - felt like they were at an awesome party, and it wasn't just typical wedding music. Also the emcee that Ively partnered with was awesome - so professional, coordinated with our coordinate throughout, and brought perfect amount of hype who could read the room. HIGHLY recommend anyone considering this team!

Multiple guests told us this was the best wedding DJ they'd ever experienced, and we couldn't agree more. MixN It Up had the absolute best vibe - they were fun, and kept things flowing organically, without being "too much" or taking away from the guest experience. They even surprised us by splicing a line from one of my friend's speeches into a song, and people lost their mind when they realized on the dance floor what was happening. My husband and I aren't a perfectly traditional couple: we didn't want super gendered language, and we had all kinds of people in our wedding party, and MixN it up was so receptive to our requests and made us feel so honored and comfortable. Our wedding just felt like "us," and I think that's truly the best thing you could ever ask for, right?

The best thing you will ever do is hire MixN it Up Events for your wedding! Iveley & Franck were so great to work with and all of our guests were raving about the music! Franck was our MC and he was awesome, so personable! We were provided an app that through out the year leading up to our wedding we were able to add all of our favorite songs as we heard them. It was so easy and took a big weight off of our shoulders during the planning process and I am so grateful for that. We allowed our guests to make requests and when they did, Iveley worked the songs in seamlessly and our guests really appreciated that. We had them start and end songs at certain times and everything went perfectly. We had a lot of people also comment on the chic set up they had and the up lighting. The photobooth was also great and I was told it was the clearest photobooth pictures they've ever had. Thank you guys again, truly the best!!

I am super late in writing this review, it has been many months since my January wedding but there is no way I could not leave this vendor a review. If I could give MixN It up 6 stars I would! The entire process from beginning to end was seamless with Ively. He uses a really cool app that asks you every detail of your wedding and then reviews it with you prior to ensure he understands every single note. I will admit, I was nervous that some of the things we spoke about would be ignored like “play this song at 0:35” seconds because they were super specific details that would go over anyone’s head. But boy was I wrong, Ively remembered every little detail of what we spoke about, which just goes to show his level of professionalism in this space. His setup and extra add ons are exactly as shown/described. We had the mirror booth, sparklers and cloud dancing and everything was 100% perfection. Nothing went wrong, nothing malfunctioned, and we enjoyed every moment of it all. We also included an MC in our package and he was great with communicating to our spanish speaking family as well. As far as the music, we gave him some suggestions but also creative freedom to use his expertise. My husband and I don’t regret that decision at all, he played a wide range of music that kept all of the age groups in our wedding entertained. He even had the dance floor packed with a conga line, 10 minutes after we opened the dance floor! I will truly say that we didn’t have to worry about anything with Ively. If you’re thinking about booking with this vendor but hesitant, run and do it right away, trust me you won’t regret it!

Music is everything to me, and Ively absolutely delivered! I created multiple playlists because I wanted my wedding to be filled with all my favorite songs and more and he KILLED it. I couldn’t have been happier! The dance floor was packed all night, and I never left it. And the photobooth was such a hit! Everyone loved it and had so much fun. I highly recommend Mix’N It Up Events to anyone looking for an unforgettable celebration!
