I brought in a 'Chaise Lounge' cushion cover to have length taken off the top & to match a similar shorter cover *see image*. I didn't want to mess up my cushion covers, so I brought it to a "professional" to have it done right, but after bringing my cover back home & putting it back on my couch cushion, I realized how janky the outer seam looked & how it was fitting, so I flipped the cover inside out, I seen that she just made a cut straight across & sewn it back shut. She charged $80 for this! Had I known this was all she was going to do, I would have done this myself with my sons old rusty kindergarten crayola scissors & my grammas cookie tin sewing kit from 1915.

Best place to do alterations. I brought in a dress a tad too big and they got it to me in no time. Very respectful and very nice.

I’ve been bringing alterations here for years. Reasonably priced, extremely fast service! The owner is very kind as well! I have brought uniforms, formal gowns, and delicate / fragile items and she’s taken such good care of each item. Would highly recommend !

My dress is huge, falling off at the breast area. My friend’s dress is HUGE falling off at the breast area. My other friend got hers altered TWICE and had to do it herself in the end because it was HUGE. I do not recommend..

WARNING TO CUSTOMERS OF ANDERSON’S BRIDE: DO NOT COME HERE. I bought my dress second-hand (no alteration, tags on) from a gal who purchased it from Anderson’s Bride. To make sure I got the best tailoring possible, I called Anderson’s and they said to come here (or another place in the valley). The start of the interaction here was great, the seamstress was very friendly. I saw about 20+ dress bags that were also from Anderson’s so in that moment I thought my tailoring was in good hands. She didn’t take measurements, but pinned the dress where she thought it needed to be taken in, and said she’d hem it and do the bustle. When she was first finished with it I came back and tried it on. It was not near taken in enough through the lower tummy area. She agreed to take it in more. I came back a second time, tried it on again, and I said it still was not fitting right but she said that’s all she could do. I really wish in the moment I’d asked more questions, but I just paid her and left. I also wish I’d looked closer at the absolutely messed up inside fabric and the crooked seams. I tried it on at home and I was still very unhappy. I took it to another place in town for a second opinion and that second person’s jaw almost hit the floor when she saw everything that was wrong. These are the problems she noted: -Unfinished tailoring at tummy/hip area, and it was not tapered from there down the train of the dress like it’s supposed to be -It was taken in wrong on the sides rather than through seams -Completely unfinished inside fabric just hanging down -It was hemmed too much and my feet show through -The seams are not straight -Somehow a blue STAIN ended up on it So I spent $485 to get it done here at Moon’s, and now I am having to spend $700 MORE to get it fixed somewhere else and then done correctly. Please, if you’re getting married, run away from here as fast as you can.
