Mori in Anaheim is the real deal. We demolished: Beef Tongue, Ebi Mayo, Squid Leg Karaage, gorgeous Chirashi Bowl, steaming Large Oden Soup, Katsu Curry Rice, juicy Beef Ribeye, and a bowl of fiery Nagasaki Jjampong. The 5 of us ate up everything on the table—everything was perfectly executed and bursting with flavor. Super casual spot with welcoming service and the huge bonus of staying open until midnight Tuesday through Saturday. Perfect for late-night cravings when everywhere else is closed. Found my new favorite spot—see you guys next week!

Beautifully decorated interior (some of the photos aren't accurate but it is very nice inside and super clean!) The food tasted great and came out quickly on a Sunday evening. We did not have to wait and were seated right away. The best yakitori dishes we chose were the ribeye beef cap and the quail eggs. The beef was flavorful and smoky and the eggs were not overdone. Extra plus for the clean high chair for our babt- they also provided a children's plate for her that was so cute. The service was also good. We will definitely be back.

Sushi was fresh and delicious! Place was packed on a Friday night with good vibes and music. Nice drink selection with fair prices. But I gotta be honest, the yakitori is not worth it. Chicken thighs were firm and dry. Ribeye cap was chewy. Meatball and pork jowl were decent.

Absolutely delightful dining experience! We were seated right away despite being a walk-in. The service was attentive and friendly, but not overwhelming. We ordered the grill steak, uni udon, scallops, and a couple of yakitoris; and all were 10/10. Everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. And the pleasant atmosphere and staff made for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend!

You don't have to twist my arm for another visit here! Can't believe I haven't dined here yet. It was a first-time visit recently for dinner, and it was a tasty and pleasant experience. We made reservations and were seated promptly after checking in. We sat in a roomy booth, and the atmosphere was pleasant and not too busy yet. We looked over the diverse menu and ordered drinks, a few izakaya items, and entrées. My favorites this visit: - Pork skewers - Veggie skewers - Unagi skewer - Chicken thigh with green onion skewer - Bacon-wrapped asparagus - Cold Soba noodle entrée - Matcha Ice Cream The rib-eye steak, which looked really delicious, had top-notch presentation. You can also cook the steak to your liking. The curry udon with donkatsu was also well enjoyed. The chicken wing with salt skewer was the only disappointment, as it was a little overcooked. The prices for the izakaya were surprising, and the cost can add up when ordering a lot. The staff overall was kind and attentive. Our food arrived in a timely manner, even as the restaurant started to get busier. We didn't feel rushed or have to wait too long for our orders. The atmosphere shifted from calm and chill to loud and active as the evening progressed, and the lighting dimmed. The conversations began to grow louder throughout the dining area, which was to be expected. Music also filled the air. A solid 4.5 stars for this first visit.
