Outstanding selection and knowledgeable staff that are eager to help. I asked for some personal recommendations for a Beaujolais and a Gamay wine, and Jimmy immediately had favorites to share for both that were fantastic. Next time I'm up here from the Springs, I'll definitely make a point to return.
This place is so rude! We have gone here many times and they have never been friendly. Called to see if they had an item in stock as it is seasonal. We were told we would have to come in to look ourselves because he didn’t know. We asked if he could look. He said he had a customer we would have to come in to look ourselves and hung up on us. Guess what we will most definitely not be coming in to look or ever returning for that matter.
Overall they had a good selection of wine, liquor, and spirits. My wife and I were excited to try one of their staff pick wines. But unfortunately it was either the incorrect wine on display or the description needed to be updated as per the current staff there weren't sure why that specific bottle was up there. Kind of a bummer, but one of the employees helped select a similar wine that was fine enough.
I went in for a bottle of The Prisoner. Jimmy explained that they try to avoid buying from big corporate brands, came out from behind the counter and recommended a bottle of Outward Cabernet Sauvignon instead. It’s the best Cab I’ve ever had. And it was cheaper than what I originally wanted. Thanks sir!
I have been goin to Mr B’s since it opened at the Stanley. The service is excellent with knowledgeable staff. Their selection is for the person who has discerning taste and will try something new. I especially love their selection of local distillers and breweries. I know I can always find something that will stimulate conversation and the palate. Lucky I can walk there!!❤️
