This morning 12/31/25 some of the electricity went out in my 101 year old house, and some lights were on, but very dimly. I assumed it was an issue with my house. I called just after 8 am and was surprised when someone answered right away and said someone could come out this morning. It turned out that there was an XCel power outage. When I called back to cancel, the same person was very kind and understanding. When I have an electric issue in the future, I will call Mr. Electric of St Paul. Friendly customer service and I was so relieved when they said they could come the same morning as the issue occurred... and on NYE, no less.
Keith and his team did an exceptional job in upgrading my electrical panel and are very knowledgeable at what they do. They kept me in the loop on what was being done and how long it would take. Easy to schedule, great service, respectful, friendly staff. Thank you!
Mr. Electric did a great job installing outdoor electrical for a sauna. They were willing to consider options others thought wouldn’t work and were very fairly priced. We would definitely use them again.
My house had an electrical fire. Jim and his team were able to repair the electrical wires in my house. They installed boxes, replaced switches and outlets. My house has power again and it's up to code. I am forever grateful for their expertise and work on the house. Highly recommend Mr. Electric!
The electrician I had been using for multiple years recently closed which led me to seek out a new service. I was admittedly apprehensive only because I was used to the quality and craftsmanship of the previous electrician. Below is a brief summary of my first experience with Mr. Electric. Requesting a quote and scheduling was easy. I made my initial request through Yelp and within 24 hours I received a response to schedule a consultation. Randy initially came out for the consultation. He was professional and courteous. Upon reviewing my quote and my positive experience with Randy, I decided to commit and schedule the install. To schedule the labor I did have to pay a deposit, which is understandable. McKeith showed up to do the install. Like Randy he was courteous and very professional. He ensured we both agreed on the work about to be performed prior to beginning. The amount of time spent on the install seemed reasonable in accordance to the work being performed. The quality and craftsmanship of the work performed is remarkable. McKeith even cleaned up the dust piles where he drilled. Nobody does this anymore, so again I am very impressed! Overall my experience with Mr. Electric was very positive. I was impacted enough by it to write this review. I will also be looking into their affiliate service companies, and they will definitely be receiving another call from me this summer with an additional project on my to-do list. Thanks again. Keep up the good work! (forgive my dirty basement walls in photos lol)
