Third visit to Mr. Nobu’s and it somehow keeps getting better. Every single bite reminded us why we come back. Our favorites this time were the maguro, foie gras, hirame, and the hamachi jalapeño — absolute standouts and perfectly executed. Richard is an incredible sushi chef and truly elevates the experience with his skill and attention to detail. Taylor, our server, was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made the night feel effortless. Mr. Nobu’s continues to be a place we crave and trust for consistently amazing sushi and service. Can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I love sushi. This is the first time in Tulsa we've had sushi that was authentic and exceptional on par with sushi we've had at the larger cities we've lived in before like Houston and Denver. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. The dining area is a little small, but we sat at the bar next door and had a nice quiet dinner in a low-key environment with delicious food, which we didn't mind the slightest. We had three varieties of bluefin tuna, we had a 5 Wagyu dressed with uni. They even have chirashi on the menu which I don't think we've seen at other restaurants in town. The prices are higher than other sushi restaurants in town, but the quality of the fish and the authenticity of the preparation is in another league of other sushi restaurants in town. This will certainly become our new favorite sushi restaurant in Tulsa.

I had a great experience here. I love sushi, sashimi, nigiri, carpaccio, etc. I always try to find the best spot and this place will be hard to beat here in Tulsa. When I first walked in, it was a little loud. We asked to sit at the sushi bar and very glad we did. It was much more calm and collected. You're right in front of the chefs making everything. You see all the fresh fish and it just grounds you what you're about to eat. We ordered the crab cakes, tuna tartar, salmon carpaccio, dressed akami, otoro, chutoro, and hotate, and finished with the Ryu roll. The black garlic on the akami was so good, it just elevated the dish to perfection. The spinach with the crab cakes was also a great addition - the dressing they used was amazing. The salmon carpaccio had a pickled onion I believe on it that gave you a great balance of acidity with that dish. Everything was absolutely perfect. The dressed akami was my favorite by far. The staff was exceptional and treated us very well. If you haven't tried this place, please do. It is divine. Thank you to everyone at Mr Nobu's Sushiya for the amazing food and experience!

I'm a harsh critic when it comes to sushi because this is a specialty food and it cost more than most food. The category for food is the most important: presentation, texture, and taste. For the price, the presentation is sub-par. If you're going to make nigiri, it should be one cut. But, I saw the chef see-sawing the meat (see photos). If that happens, use that piece for a roll because it fell apart don't throw it on rice and call it nigiri. Good otoro, ono, and Chutoro, the fish melts in your mouth, no chewing. They have a good fish to rice ratio, but the rolls are smaller here. The atmosphere is loud here, it's hard to hear what people at your table is saying. The seating is too close from other Guests. The best part of this place is the wait staff, they're very attentive and know the menu. I recommend making reservations.

Here I am again, happy to share my experience! I usually see the the negatives part of eating out in these areas, but this time I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavors of the sushi at Mr. Nobu. Having lived in Japan for seven years, I tend to have high standards when it comes to sushi, especially since I'm in Tulsa, where good sushi options are close to non - I approached it with skepticism. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The two chefs were not only great hosts, but the sushi they prepared met a good standard of quality. Knowing that transportation of fish here is a long way. I recommend this place, especially sitting at the bar with the chefs instead of opting for a table.
