Best Body Shop in Miami!I had an exceptional experience with this body shop. The paint work was absolutely flawless, with incredible attention to detail and a perfect finish. Sergio, the painter, did an outstanding job—his skill and professionalism really show in the final result. The car looks better than new, and the work was completed on time. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for top-quality paint and craftsmanship.
Door Whisperer. I give these guys at MTJ Paint and Body Shop a 5 star rating only because a 10 star rating option was not offered, but here are my extra five stars: * * * * * For me, MTJ stands for Master Transformers of the Jodido (Effed-Up) I was driving around, with a messed up door on my otherwise very well maintained 4X4, manual transmission 2000 Forerunner. The slot on my driver’s side window, where the glass goes up and down and in & out of my door, where normally you can hardly fit a business card, was bowing out enough that I could fit four of my fingers in the gap between the trim and the glass. I called MTJ (found them on Google) and asked if I could come by. This was Monday at 4:05 in the afternoon— they closed at 5pm. From the minute Armando, the owner, greeted me at 4:35, I felt welcomed. He looked over my door, spoke to one of his employees, a young Cuban chapistero named Andres, who was speaking with a guy in a fire engine red A5. Andres, stepped up, and said that he could fix my problem on the spot. He walked away and returned with a piece of 1x3 inch board and a 5 pound sledge. In 3 minutes of suble tapping he was done. I shot a still picture, because he was so fast I had no time to video him with my cell. It was truly a marvel to watch this guy work with such effortless skill. Then, I realized, “You just met the The Door Whisperer, man! Also spirit moving, was that both Armando and Andres felt authentic, they had a genuine desire to fix the problem and were honest. Honest, because though he had all the high-tech stuff inside the shop, Armando didn't try to sell that to me. He easily could have told me to come back tomorrow, knowing my problem didn’t need it, and then take me for a pricier ride. Instead, he simply stated,“I can do this or we can order a new door” I left there feeling great with the snazzy repair, but there was a deeper takeaway: the knowledge that there are still honest and well-intentioned people in this often troubled world of ours, Lastly, I toast Armando and Andres, the Horse Whisperer. Both of you truly radiate love for what you do. Love of craft, what a concept, Huh? Here’s to your growing success, you deserve it. Cheers
I’ve been taking my cars to MTJ Body Shop for several years now, and I can honestly say the experience has been consistently outstanding. No matter the issue—big repairs or small touch-ups—they always deliver top-quality work with great attention to detail. The team is professional, honest, and truly cares about doing the job right. What really keeps me coming back is the combination of excellent craftsmanship and friendly, reliable service. They communicate clearly, the turnaround time is always reasonable, and my cars come back looking as good as new every single time. After multiple visits over the years, I can confidently say MTJ Body Shop is one of the best around. I’m super satisfied with their work and highly recommend them to anyone who wants their vehicle in expert hands.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience deserves to be shared so others can make informed decisions. Being in a car accident is already extremely stressful, especially when you work hard for your vehicle and take pride in taking care of it. As a woman dealing with this situation alone, I expected professionalism and honesty. Unfortunately, my experience with this body shop made the situation even worse. My repair took almost five months and although the shop claimed to be “the best,” the quality of work on my car was extremely disappointing. During those months, my car was just sitting there, barely touched for long stretches of time. I had to constantly call, visit in person, and follow up because weeks would go by with no updates. I even had to call my insurance over and over, trying to get things moving, all while paying for a rental and doing everything in my power to get my car back sooner. When I finally picked my vehicle up, it wasn’t even properly washed(pictured shows it after i had it washed , you can imagine how dirty and dusty it was prior). After taking it home and inspecting it carefully, I found multiple issues: Paintwork was done poorly - scratches, compound residue, and areas that were not polished or waxed correctly. The surface feels rough instead of smooth. Has overspray all over due to negligence. The Mercedes trunk emblem was reinstalled completely misaligned, which should never happen on a luxury vehicle. My left window no longer rolls up properly( that’s the main part that was replaced/repaired). It now takes several attempts to close, and after taking it to the Mercedes dealership, I was told the issue is due to body shop misalignment - something only the body shop can fix. So basically i have to pay a lot of money to fix all those above on my completely brand new car… In addition to this, the keys from my previous car magically disappeared from the trunk… This was after an enormous amount of money was paid through insurance, and the workmanship does not reflect professional standards or attention to detail. I contacted the shop immediately and was told the issues were “minor” and that the compound paint could simply be cleaned. However, the misaligned emblem and the window problem were dismissed, and after sending photos, I was told I would get a call back. It’s now been days with no call, no text, no follow-up, and no offer to fix what was clearly done incorrectly. I would not want to go back there ever anyways. I was patient and respectful throughout this whole process, but I truly felt taken advantage of as a woman walking in there alone. That was extremely disheartening and added to the overall frustration. This review is not written out of anger - it is simply the truth of my experience. I hope it helps someone avoid the stress, delays, and lack of accountability that I went through. I also want to say that I appreciate the workers and the people I interacted with during this long process. I understand that the employees themselves are not at fault, and my frustration is not directed at them. My issue is with the management and the lack of proper oversight, communication, and accountability from those in charge.

I had my motorcycle getting some work done at my mechanic’s shop, and I figured it was the perfect time to bring the fairings over to MTJ to bring the bike back to life. I was on a tight timeline, but Armando promised the work would be done by the end of the week—and he delivered. It wasn’t just paint—they even repaired a few things for me. I dropped the parts off on Tuesday, and by Friday at 2 PM, everything was done exactly how I envisioned it. These guys don’t cut corners, and they stick to their word—something rare in the world of vehicle repair. I can’t thank them enough and honestly can’t recommend them enough. Whether it’s a small job or a big one—from a Honda Civic to a Ferrari—they treat every client with the same respect and care. You can tell you truly matter to them.
