⭐️ 1 Star (If I could give zero, I would) I am literally in the middle of a life crisis, and hiring Murphy’s Movers has made everything worse. I was quoted an extremely high price for moving just 9 pieces of furniture, but I moved forward anyway because I was in a bind and needed help. On the day of my move — and just 10 minutes before the scheduled time — I was informed they could not complete my move. No real explanation. The owner wasn’t available so no one was available. 😒 No solution offered other than moving me at inconvenient times. Just a last-minute cancellation that left me scrambling. This kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially when people are depending on you during stressful times. Now my things are still stuck at the old house, I have children without beds, and absolutely no adequate support or follow-through from this company. To make things worse, they had the nerve to offer me a discount as if money is the issue — no amount of discount could make up for the chaos they caused. I’m convinced a lot of these 5-star reviews are from friends and family because there is no way this experience reflects quality service. Propaganda and lies…. This was the final straw in dealing with poor customer service in Memphis. I would NEVER give Murphy’s Movers a cent, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone — especially if you actually need your move handled with care, communication, and respect for your time.

The movers did wonderful moving all my furniture! They didn’t damage anything and placed it in the right places. They were very nice!

They were able to move our belongings from storage into the house the next day. Everything went really smooth, they were upfront about the cost, no hidden fees or annoying messages for days after. The movers themselves worked really fast and were really nice. They arrived on time and gave enough notice. Highly recommend.

These guys came in and moved an entire office bedroom, living room, guest bedroom and kitchen for me in less than 2 1/2 hours m… they took doors off Of hinges in order to get furniture in and out and put the stuff all back together again!!! they even dismantled my bed and put it back together for me as well!! Amazing job!! I tipped them nicely for all their hard work!
