It could have been so much better. My wife and I attended the scallops, risotto, and lava cake class. To start, the location and setup didn’t even feel like being in a kitchen. The location is in a single white room in a strip mall using metal tables and extension tables. There is no ventilation so the room was getting a little hazy with all of the hot plates being used. We liked the chef, Tony, and the assistants were friendly but this wasn’t a class where they showed you how to cook. They just told you how to cook. We were expecting a chef to actually make the recipes as we were going it so that we had something to compare to. There wasn’t even an explanation on how to cook the 7 small-medium sandy scallops, to be shard between 2 people, that you should constantly flip them or move them around as we saw others doing so. Most of the class was focused on making risotto which we loved. We spent about 10 minutes mixing the lava cakes with pre measured ingredients. Someone else cooked them and plated them so I wouldn’t say that we actually made those. We probably won’t do another class with this company again because of the atmosphere, equipment used, and how the class is taught based on what we paid.

We did the Kouign Amann class, and they were incredible! The instructor made it very easy to follow and the end pastry was delicious! We will definitely be returning for another class.

I was very happy with this event to learn how to make soufflés. The instructors were patient and allowed us to do it twice which helped in retaining the lesson. Our class was intimate and the a lot of fun!

We took the French Recipe Croissant Class, and it was absolutely fantastic! The class was small and intimate just eight of us which made it easy to follow along and ask questions. Jax, our instructor, was both professional and incredibly friendly. She clearly knows her craft and shared her expertise in a way that was easy to understand, even for those of us with no baking experience. I attended with my partner and cousins, and we all had such a great time learning how to make croissants from scratch. Jax’s step-by-step guidance made the process easy to follow, and the results were incredible… buttery, flaky croissants that tasted amazing. She even provided a copy of the recipe so we can try making them at home. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning French baking or just looking for a fun, hands-on experience. I’m already looking forward to joining more classes in the future!

We had a wonderful event here this evening. Incredibly well organized. Great recipes and instruction. All in all a spectular time. I took a croissant class with Jax yesterday. Outstanding. She had everything well prepared so we didn't have to focus on the easy bits (making dough), but instead on lamination, folds, shaking, temperature, etc very nicely done.
