Full confidence in recommending David! My situation was complex to say the least and he took the time to discuss and understand it. He took an appropriately conservative approach to ensure i had solid foundational mechanics and baseline functional strength to then build upon. He looked out for risks from past injuries and surgeries as he built his plan. It's clear to me, and im sure anyone who has worked with him, that he's mastered his craft but is always seeking to become better through study of current evolving science and industry developments. As a reference point, in my prior city by happenstance i got to train with another pro who trained several of our US Olympians. The technical descriptions and instruction from David was on par with my prior trainer. So, if you're a beat up weekend warrior trying to get back to a strong state or working as a semi pro or pro athlete I think David's careful watch will benefit you.
TLDR: David is an amazing trainer, and I would highly recommend working with him. Definitely worth your time and money. ---------- I worked with David for 1-on-1 personal training (twice a week, hour sessions, for four months). David helped me achieve my weight loss and fitness goals in that time, and lost 35 lbs. If you have New Year's goals to get in shape, he will be able to help you. David created workouts specifically targeted for my needs, and along with weight loss helped me gain strength and mobility in a "bad" shoulder. Meal plans were drawn up to fit my likes and dislikes and easily kept me on the path to eating healthily and not going over my daily calorie goal. As a person, David is very easy to get along with. He can joke around and keep things light or get down to business and help push you on that last set. He is a good trainer if you are a beginner to working out and fitness, more intermediate, or even a lifetime fitness pro. He can adjust to you. David is very professional, punctual for sessions (or will text you even if he'll just be two minutes late), and is a great communicator over text or email. If you are looking for a good personal trainer, I would recommend David and MyFit.
David taught me and my husband how to work out safely, efficiently and with minimal equipment pretty much anywhere. We have both gotten stronger and more flexible. It’s especially helped my husband. Super knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. Highly recommend!
David is an amazing trainer. He explains everything in a way I can understand, he does a great job helping me figure out next steps for my fitness and nutrition, he's super supportive, the workouts he gives me make me feel better almost instantly and he's got a great sense of humor. Before I started working with him I was afraid of working out because of past injuries but now my confidence is so much higher. I'm very grateful to be coached by him.
I’ve been working with David for over a year now and I’ve seen amazing progress in my strength, muscle definition, and overall fitness.
